Job Description
The Machining Program is a brand new program with Porter and Chester Institute. This is an exciting new opportunity for PCI to grow as a technical institute and help a brand new population of student's train and find work within the Machining industry.
The ProgramCoordinator will organize and lead faculty in a manner that ensures quality classroom and lab instruction. They will administer programs, monitor the learning process and tailor course materials to the levels and needs of individual students, which will ultimately allow students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation.
Main responsibilities:
Teach a minimum of 20 hours per week per term
Program Administration, including but not limited to monitoring and maintaining appropriate staffing levels and ensuring inventory of consumables for the programs is maintained at all times
Develop and implement strategies/plans to maximize student learning
Create and maintain excellent customer and student services
Faculty Hiring, Performance Management, Mentoring, Training and employee engagement
Position Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required
3 years' documentable occupational work experience in machining required
Minimum of 3 years of field experience with proven skills necessary to set up and run vertical milling machines and horizontal lathes
3 years' classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
5 years' of successful leadership and management experience preferred
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The Student Services Coordinator Lead serves as a primary point of contact for the Office of Student Services and plays a central role in shaping the student experience. This position supports students and artist-faculty from major conservatories and orchestras. Responsibilties

Assist with scholarship programcoordination, including donor thank-you letter tracking, scholarship lunches, and special scholarship-related events.
Compile and produce the weekly Soundings student newsletter, gathering content, drafting copy, and designing the final layout.
Support classes and performances for select small programs, such as the Center for Orchestral Leadership, American Brass Quintet Seminar @Aspen, and Classical Guitar.
Oversee core office functions-including daily administrative workflows, appointment scheduling, form collection, database updates, and student communications.
Serve as a primary point of contact for the Office of Student Services, fielding questions from students, artist-faculty, staff, and community members with professionalism and care.
Through these and other responsibilities, The Student Services Coordinator Lead will gain hands-on experience with Slate Technolutions, the leading Higher Ed CRM platform, and ArtsVision, a top artistic management software used across the industry.
Requirements

This position is eligible for a pre-season, part- remote, hourly contract beginning in May.
Compensation
Pre-season remote: $15.16/hour
Season: $13.50/hour plus housing provided by AMFS (valued at a minimum of $5.16/hour depending on location.) Overtime $22.74/hour
OR
$22.00/hour if you provide your own housing. Overtime $33.00/hour.
The overall non-local compensation for this position, including hourly pay ($13.50/hour) and housing ($5.16/hour), exceeds the 2026 Colorado minimum wage of $15.16.
Benefits include AMFS season pass and paid sick time.

HOME-BASED FAMILY EDUCATOR
Under the supervision of the home-based services supervisor, the family development educator shall be responsible to:
1. Conduct weekly home visits with families lasting a minimum of one and a half (1.5) hours to a maximum of two (2) hours per session.
Develop and implement weekly lesson plans in partnership with parents.
Provide comprehensive services to families as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards.
Meet all program-required screening and ongoing assessment timelines with regard to health, education, disability and mental health.
Collect, screen, and track all medical examinations and immunizations, working with families to obtain health information and follow-up as needed.
Each month, in collaboration with parents, provide two developmentally appropriate socializations and/or fieldtrips for 0-5 year-olds and families on assigned caseload and complete classroom health and safety assessment inspections.
Provide case management and general counseling to assigned families to ensure provision of quality mental health, health, and social services, including services to high-risk pregnant women, expectant fathers, and their families. Maintain accurate documentation.
Assess, document and maintain strength-based Family Partnership Plan while supporting parents in achieving their family goals.
Participate in regular case conferencing sessions to discuss strengths, needs, and concerns of children and their families.
Refer families to available community services and follow up referral to ensure needed services were obtained. Develop relationships with the community and community resources and monitor to ensure families receive necessary services in a timely manner.
Participate in and attend all required meetings, training, workshops, conferences, and continuing education as required.
Develop and implement activities for workshops and monthly family nights as described in parent involvement procedures. Distribute monthly parent meeting agendas and minutes.
Jointly plan and implement a variety of activities for parent workshops and family nights, including planning and distributing agendas, preparing and translating minutes in English and Spanish.
Monitor and track attendance of children in caseload and follow up on absences, providing support and guidance to families as necessary to ensure successful program enrollment.
Complete program information report (PIR) data and notes into the Child Plus data program on an ongoing basis.
Participate in regularly scheduled recruitment throughout Ventura County, including community events, health and human services agencies, and door-to-door residential contacts.
Other duties as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum of a current state-awarded child development associate teacher permit (
renewed and
maintained active as a condition of employment)
or an associate degree in child or early childhood development, or *related field with equivalent child development coursework. Coursework must include
child/human growth & development; child/family & community or child and family relations; programs/curriculum, and
**six infant/toddler units.
Minimum of two years' experience in a childcare program as a preschool or infant/toddler teacher or in a social service, community-based agency providing case management services.
*Related fields are defined as: human development, liberal arts, psychology, sociology, home economics, nutrition, special education, general education, or health education.
**If hired without the minimum six infant/toddler development units, continued education towards completing the required units within 18 months of hire will be required as a condition of employment.
Preferred Criteria: Fluent bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to effectively speak, read, and write in English. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Physical Abilities: Ability to effectively use hands and fingers to fill out r forms and use of computer keyboard and other office machines/equipment. Ability to walk and/or stand extensively throughout employment for ongoing outdoor recruitment and field trips. Safely drive company or personal vehicle as part of daily family visit activities. May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and sit on the floor for family visits and/or group socials. Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to carry, push, and pull rolling carts and/or cases with supplies.
License or Other Requirements: Must have access to a dependable auto with minimum appropriate insurance coverage and possess a current valid California driver's license. Must hold Infant First Aid and CPR certificate and renew upon every expiration. Must submit to a job-pertinent, agency-paid, pre-employment physical examination, negative tuberculosis test, and criminal record background check. Employment is conditional pending satisfactory results of all required tests and background checks. Periodic physical examinations and TB clearances will be required if hired. The O'Bryant's BRYT Program was developed to support students who are returning from an acute hospitalization or those students at risk of needing hospitalization. The role of the support specialist is to provide academic and social-emotional support to students enrolled in the BRYT program to help them achieve the credits needed to complete the school year and/or to stay on track for graduation.

With the support of the Administrative Team, Clinical Coordinator, and Student Success Team, participate in intake meetings with students upon enrollment in the BRYT program
Work with the Clinical Coordinator, Student Success Team, and students enrolled in BRYT to develop individual goals and discharge criteria for the program
Provide tutoring and academic assistance to students in the BRYT program
Monitor & document the academic progress of students
Maintain daily logs of work completed, coping skills used, and accomplishments/challenges

Maintain regular contact with all classroom teachers to obtain updates on students' academic standing, to gather coursework, and to receive extra support for students as needed
Maintain the daily attendance log for students in BRYT

* Manages academic support/success programming, including coordination of peer and professional tutoring, monitoring students' academic progress, and analyzing grade reports.
* Oversees peer coaching/mentoring program. Recruits, trains, and supervises peer coaches and mentors. Coordinates workshops, academic coaching/mentoring, and one-on-one and group sessions for students in academic difficulty to help them return to satisfactory academic progress standing.
* Provides outreach to students to connect them to campus resources to promote their retention. Facilitates engagement activities for students in academic warning, probation, and/or subject to dismissal. Meets with students to provide strategic academic counseling.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree.
* Five years of professional experience in counseling, coaching, and/or advising students, with at least one year having served as an advanced or lead team member.
* Demonstrated experience in providing/administering academic support services and activities that support student growth, retention, persistence, and graduation.
* Experience working with first-generation and/or low-income students from varied educational backgrounds.
* Experience working with college students interested in or studying STEM.
* Experience coordinating activities and events to promote student learning, engagement, and/or career preparation.
* Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, writing, and administrative skills.
* Experience or demonstrated ability to provide general educational support, effectively implement recruiting strategies, and interpret educational records and related information.

Position Goal: Supervises the professional nursing staff and dental hygienists of the District as directed. Promotes and advocates for a state of holistic well-being for students, staff and members of the community so that they may be able to experience success in the educational system.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITEIS:

Maintains awareness of federal and state laws, regulations and guidelines that impact the school health program.
Assists in the implementation of the Reading School District school health program.
Reviews and supervises the Reading School District dental health program.
Facilitates Reading School District Wellness Council; supervising and reviewing programs and initiatives of the Wellness Council.
Acts as liaison between the Reading School District certified and non-certified school nurses and the district School Physician Consultant, Pennsylvania Departments of Health and Education and Board of Nursing regarding specific findings, problems, reports, procedures, etc.
Maintains continuous review of all Reading School District procedures, processes and related Board Policies.

Acts as liaison between the school health services staff and various school district consultants, district personnel and community members.
Assists in gathering budget information and planning the budget.
Reviews bids on various supplies.
Coordinates annual inventory of medical supplies and equipment.

Reviews individual certified and non-certified school nurses' and department reports.

Reviews information for medical 504 plans, attends meetings and signs plans as central administrator.

Prepares and distributes certified and non-certified school nurse assignments and schedules based on state mandated nurse-student ratios and building acuity.
Maintains contact with Human Resources and staffing agency personnel and prepares contingency staffing plans to ensure daily coverage of health rooms in the event of health services staff.
Supervises, observes and evaluates the performance of the certified and non-certified school nurses and dental hygienists in the performance of their duties.
Identifies, coordinates and evaluates all in-service, training and professional improvement programs for the certified and non-certified school nurses, health assistants and dental hygienists.
Documents and recommends disciplinary action up to and including termination of health services staff.
Coordinates the various student nurse training cooperative agreements with the Reading School District.
Provides and/or supervises nursing coverage for students with chronic health care needs during summer and extended school year programs. These duties will include medication administration, urgent first aid response and health record review.

Food & Meal Logistics
Receive daily deliveries of snacks and lunch supplies.
Prepare snacks and pack lunches for camper groups. This includes assembling up to ~100+ cold lunches when camp is at full capacity.
Distribute snacks and lunches to camper groups each day.
Set up and maintain a safe, organized food prep and service area.
Clean and sanitize kitchen and prep areas after use; restock and organize supplies, inventory food and supplies.
At the end of the shift, prep for next day's morning meals/snacks (check inventory, restock, clean surfaces, sweep/mop, set out needed items).
Afternoon / Activity Support (if on full-time schedule)
Assist with break‐down of afternoon activities.
Reloading afternoon daily special treats.
Grocery pick up from Aldi, Walmart, Sam's Club
Unload supplies ensuring they're sorted, stored, and ready for upcoming meals and snacks.
When time allows, assisting with transitions, helping with clean‐up, or other operational duties that support a smooth day camp flow.
