SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Managing Director and will provide administrative support by performing clerical functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Answer phone calls and greet visitors - direct to appropriate parties or take messages.
Maintain the Admissions Control log, distribute admissions leads properly, verify online lead data, and enter prospect information into CampusVue.
Prepare all mail acceptance letters following weekly Admissions Committee Meetings.
Ensure all information is ready for New Student Orientation, including mailing orientation letters, orientation packets, sign in sheets, and name tags.
Enter new enrollments into CampusVue and create files for new students; maintain all academic files.
Monitor and enter student attendance in CampusVue and communicate with the Managing Director and/or Lead Instructor about any attendance issues or problems.
Receive all payments, application fees, and financial aid checks, and provide receipts.
Enter grades and gather necessary modular documentation.
Post graduates in CampusVue and close student files upon graduation, course completion, and/or termination.
Document all student status changes including leaves of absence and exits.
Enter, prepare, and print schedules for new modules. Distribute report cards and schedules.
Place orders for stationary, envelopes, business cards, and other supplies.
Other administrative tasks as deemed necessary.
KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS - ABILITIES:
Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening.
Ability to provide excellent customer and personal services.
Proficient with basic office equipment, computers, and computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma/equivalent required.
This position requires at least 6 months of experience.

Maintenance Technician
Porter & Chester Instit job in Rocky Hill, CT
Performs proactive and preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment and grounds for all campuses. Utilizes multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and roofing, HVAC, and other skills as needed to solve maintenance problems. Maintains commercial properties by self-performing the following duties.
** Position location is flexible among PCI, Connecticut campus locations (Hamden, Waterbury, New London, Bridgeport), must be flexible with shift hours, travel required **
The Maintenance Technician will...
Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status via our Handheld or other designated business process.
Perform assigned work orders according to schedule.
Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulation, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs
Work with facilities leadership to provide written quotes for work that cannot be performed within budget.
Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
Maintain adequate knowledge of and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company safety policies at all times.
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Perform routine painting, carpentry work, etc., as necessary to maintain facilities in like new condition
Daily local travel between properties, with availability for overnight interstate travel
Must be available during non-work hours as needed and responds to emergency calls in a timely manner
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
2-5 years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; OR equivalent combination of training, education, and experience required
Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience in one or more of the building trades
Valid driver's license required
Must be available to frequent travel to all campuses (Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania), including overnight stays, with minimal notice
Ability to read and interpret or create documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong relationship building and collaborating skills

Ability to operate handheld device and business systems or document management

Job Description
The Collections Specialist is responsible for collections of outstanding past due student accounts receivable and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This process is done using the telephone, email or fax to research and resolve student billing issues, send collection letters when appropriate and ultimately receive past due payments on accounts.
This position will be responsible for:
Responsible for calling past due accounts each month.
The specialist is expected to independently contact or assist 70-80 students daily primarily by phone to collect past due amounts or resolve inquiries.
The specialist follows outlined procedures and uses independent judgment to determine appropriate collection steps.
The specialist uses the computer systems to document the activity of individual student accounts.
Resolves student-billing problems and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
Collect student payments in accordance with payment due dates.
Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
Mail correspondence to students to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
Mail billings.
Position requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Relevant post secondary training preferred
Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Access.
Work with limited supervision and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
