As a Day Porter Technician, a typical day includes performing these essential duties and responsibilities: Serves as the first line of contact as liaison between property tenants and property manager in regards to property appearance. Responsible for performing general maintenance including but not limited to ensuring trash is picked up around the building, cobwebbing, cleaning the dumpster area, ensuring the entry ways are clean and free of debris, wipe down trash cans and ash urns and empty if necessary. If other maintenance items are noted onsite, send observations to the assistant property manager and property manager. Perform seasonal power washing of building exteriors, sidewalks, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and professional appearance. Assist with the installation and removal of TOK marketing signage at properties. Ensure vacant spaces are ready for viewing, including making the space presentable for viewing. Responsible for ensuring that all safety hazards are identified and immediately reported to management. Accountable for completion of work orders in the Fieldpoint Maintenance Module as well as efficient management of time and materials. Requirements Essential knowledge, skills and abilities needed to succeed: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college or trade school preferred. Displays and operates with discretion in matters of confidentiality when dealing with tenants and co-workers.
