Housekeeper - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain surveillance of housekeeping cart when in resident access areas due to potentially dangerous cleaning fluids. Follow prescribed and standard safety and infection control procedures
Interacts with adult and older residents in a respectful and reassuring manner in resolution of complaints and/or concerns. Communicates effectively and tactfully with adult and older adult residents/patients, recognizing their age, cultural diversity, need, abilities and physical condition
Interacts with staff in a positive and effective manner, performing duties as part of a team.
Attend departmental meetings and appropriate inservice education programs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Main Duties
Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
Preparing dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, etc.
Unloading and storing deliveries.
Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled.
Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with different tasks, as needed.
Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.

What You'll Do:
Perform laundry cleaning activities in accordance with established brand/hotel guest service and sustainability standards ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Formulates washing formula for stained loads and all other laundry products processed through the laundry area including food and beverage items.
Sorts dirty linen by product type.
Identifies worn and torn linen and keep track of rag outs on a discard form.
Participates in monthly linen inventory.
