Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
The Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside.

Responsibilities
* The laborer/helper will assist with production, perform general labor tasks, maintain plant housekeeping, assist with routine maintenance on plant and equipment and provide assistance in all areas of the plant as needed
* Schedules may change from time-to-time, depending on business needs
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* These duties include primarily shoveling spillage areas, also to include lubricating machinery, monitor the plant, heavy ground maintenance, and inspect plant daily
* Maintains yard and equipment
* Cleans conveyor belt areas and performs minor preventive maintenance and replaces worn/damaged components as needed
* Assists with other maintenance as needed
* Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies, MSHA, TCEQ and other regulators
* Assist with operation of other equipment
* Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations
* Perform duties with minimum supervision
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles, team player with strong interpersonal skills, dedicated and hard working.
* Must pass a pre-employment drug test/heavy demand physical.
