Job Description
You will contribute by:
+ Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor - Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
+ Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors - Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
+ Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
+ Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
+ Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
+ Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
+ Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

* Washes windows as scheduled.
* Strips and recoats all floor areas when necessary and as scheduled.
* Checks areas for spills, water, etc. periodically, especially in bathrooms.
* Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
* Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.
* Other duties as assigned.
Skills - Qualifications:
* Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
* Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: 1-2 previous custodial experience preferred. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
* Special Requirements: Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs following appropriate safety procedures; complete all required forms. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner. Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 8 ft). Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities
The WBPC Porter is a valuable member to the on-site management team. They are responsible for the overall upkeep of the exterior image. Depending on the size and age of the community, the position consists of a variety of duties. The following qualifications must be met before consideration for employment as porter:
* Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
* Keep property, management office, landscaping clean by inspecting property each morning and picking up any trash littering the grounds

* Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
* Replace all first floor window screens upon request.

Interview Days and Times:
Mondays:
11:00 am to 12:00 pm
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Wednesdays:
11:00 am to 12:00 pm
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Requirements:
Must Have Driver License and be able to pass background check.
Must be responsible, courteous, positive attitude, detail-oriented, honest, and friendly.
Accountable for supplies, residence keys, files, and other personal information
Experience level:
0-3 years
Schedule:
8-Hour Shifts (20 to 25 hours a week)
Days varies
Compensation: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
