Through maintenance and janitorial work, this position ensures that the physical aspects of the property's building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the community's expectations for aesthetics, cleanliness, safety, and general functionality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Responsible for replacing light bulbs. Cleaning public areas, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, passageways, elevators, stairwells, locker rooms, and other areas as assigned. Cleaning corridors, staircases, and office space by sweeping, mopping, scouring and vacuuming. Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Washing walls, ceilings, windows and sills, door panels, and woodwork. Transport trash and waste to a disposal area and empty trash and garbage containers. Ability to use new equipment appropriately and adhere to safety protocols before using it. While completing work, ensures that all safety precautions are observed. If necessary, cut and trim the grass. On-property transportation of minor equipment or tools. Daily inspects all assigned locations and notifies the Supervisor of any cleaning or maintenance issues. Clean the units in preparation for new tenants. Completes work orders daily according to the schedule. Perform other jobs as needed. The ideal candidate will possess: A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
