We are looking for talented POS Technician to join our team. Tacala is 340 store franchise group located in seven states. We are the largest franchisee of Taco Bell stores in the nation.
Our POS Technicians serve our restaurant operators on a daily basis. Customer interaction and problem solving skills are a must. Our technicians must be self-starters, able to organize work flow efficiently with little supervision. Technicians must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and explain technical issues to end-users who may not have a technical background. + Provide year-round restaurant technical support
+ Maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with all employees, vendors and TBC Help Desk
+ Meet standards set by Tacala for all areas of responsibility
Core Responsibilities
• Deploy and maintain all restaurant technology
• HME drive-thru systems, POS systems, asset protection security equipment and back of the house Windows operating systems
• Help desk escalation
• Respond to internal ticket reporting system
• Work with the Development, Facilities and Loss Prevention department on all technology for remodel, offset, and new construction buildings
• Misc. other related duties as necessary
Job Qualifications/Requirements
• High School diploma
• Restaurant experience preferred
• One year experience in a field technician support role preferred
• Comfortable around technology
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users in order to troubleshoot and find solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and deliver results, meet tight deadlines and targets
• Ability to meeting physical requirements such as standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing ladders, lifting and moving up to 75 lbs., reaching, manual dexterity and visual acuity
