Lead daily routines and structured group activities

Work closely with supervisors and team members to support youth progress
Assist youth with hygiene, meals, chores, and service plan objectives, while helping them build the skills needed for successful reunification with their families

Assist families in understanding their role in recovery and reducing the stigma associated with mental illness.
Advocate for families within the mental health system, helping them access appropriate services, community resources, support groups, and relevant organizations that can provide additional assistance and information.
Facilitate communication between the multidisciplinary team, the individual in recovery, and their family.
Help families navigate the complexities of supporting a loved one through treatment, offering insights and strategies for effective communication and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field, and work experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certified Peer Specialist-Parent: Certification as a peer specialist-parent or equivalent, indicating personal experience as a parent of an individual with early psychosis.
At least two years of related experience and/or training in mental health is preferred.
Personal lived experience with a first episode of psychosis and a strong commitment to ongoing recovery.
Knowledge of Early Psychosis: Familiarity with early psychosis, its symptoms, treatment options, and the challenges faced by both individuals and their families.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices for early intervention and psychosis treatment.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and the demonstrated ability to work with flexibility and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of mental health services, treatment approaches, and community resources.
Ability to establish and maintain boundaries while building supportive relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work sensitively with diverse people and communities.
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients and their families.

Responsibilities for Urology Scrub / Surgical / Laser Tech:
Perform procedures in accordance with all Laser protocols.
Moves and sets up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR prior to procedure.
Assists Urologist in performing ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
Report to facility no later than 60 minutes prior to the start of the procedure.
Submit complete and legible treatment/billing logs according to UMS' HIPAA policies and procedures.
Reviews and maintains inventory of supplies and cystoscopy equipment.
Responsible for contacting facilities to confirm schedule, number of patient procedures and start times.
Responsible for having an after-hours contact at each facility in case of equipment failure or emergency. It is the technologist's responsibility to contact the facility in case of potential cancellation and work with the Laser Supervisor to try to accommodate the patient procedures.
Maintains and builds relationships with physician partners.
Responsible for maintaining Policies & Procedure Manuals, which includes adding updates and reviewing each manual prior to any inspection.
Responsible for the upkeep of the equipment and supplies to perform procedures in an efficient and aesthetic manner. They will prepare the equipment for transport, including but not limited to, cleaning/disinfecting the equipment, putting supplies away, etc.
Notify their service engineer of any malfunctioning equipment.
Laser Specialist will wear a company name badge at all times, when on the premises of a facility.
Qualifications for Urology Scrub / Surgical / Laser Tech:
Certified Scrub Tech or Certified Surgical Technologist or similar background preferred
Prior OR experience preferred
Urology experience preferred
Minimum 1 year experience working in Operation Room setting.
Prior experience with Holmium Laser utilization for Urology procedures a plus.
Knowledge of sterilization protocols will be considered a plus.

Job Description
Positive Growth, Inc. is community based program that provides outpatient mental health services. Positive Growth is looking for fully licensed therapists and social workers, will also consider associate licensed. This position provides mental health services to children, youth, adults, and families. We are looking for therapists to provide individual and family counseling for children, adolescents and adults with mental health/substance abuse diagnoses. Full Time (20-25) and part-time (12-15) caseloads available. Hourly Rate Range: $25.00 - $45.00. Must be flexible to work days and evenings. This position requires a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Chemical Dependency or Counseling and candidates should have LPC, LCSW, LMFT, APC, LMSW, LAMFT or PsyD status in the state of Georgia. This position will require in-person work.

DEFINITION: Under general direction, to provide individual and family therapy, assessments, screenings, diagnoses, prognoses, counseling and psychotherapeutic treatment for clients (children, adolescents and families).
Role includes:
Conducting initial consultations to gather patient information
Assessing patients' emotional and mental health and developing treatment plans to meet them
Asking questions and listening to help patients explore their thoughts and feelings
Leading patients through mental exercises and role-playing activities when beneficial
Counseling and advising patients on issues of importance to them
Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
Providing referrals for additional care or services when required
Maintaining detailed confidential records
EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Meets with individuals, families, and groups in office, home, schools, virtually and community settings throughout the metro Atlanta area to develop client centered service plans; provides direction for client mental health and community activities; assists clients with understanding their problems and developing plans to resolve them; provides a variety of Mental Health counseling and therapy for clients and their families; works with clients' families to secure their cooperation in treatment programs; advises clients on available community resources and serves as a liaison with organizations and service agencies; makes referrals and other arrangements for client treatment and service, as necessary; serves as a consultant for other Mental Health staff; prepares and present progress reports on assigned cases; cooperates with professionals from other disciplines in the development of team and collaborative diagnoses and treatment programs; develops recommendations for discharge and follow-up treatment planning for clients and their families; completes BIRP notes; performs crisis intervention; attend clinical review meetings; attend assigned team meetings and case conferencing. Maintain update training and/or continued education in your required field of work.
