Build relationship between individuals, Valor community partner agencies, as well as MOUD and detox providers giving information, sharing options, and making appropriate referrals. Transport individuals to next level of care, engage individuals in discussion of “next steps”-Explain Recovery Coaching / peer-to-peer support during rides, encourage medication assisted treatment and multiple pathways to recovery with follow up contacts at recovery center and other natural environments and community based settings as appropriate. Engage in discussion of overdose risk and prevention and provide Narcan education and distribution upon completion of treatment.
