Purpose:
The Postdoctoral Researcher will perform research in microfluidics, lab-on-a-chip, and organ-on-a-chip systems in the NanoBio Systems Laboratory. The project will be highly interdisciplinary and fast-paced, having multiple collaborating labs in microbial pathogenesis, environmental microbiology, and bioinformatics. The Postdoctoral Research Associate, under general supervision, conducts clinical research focused on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders (SUD), including participation in clinical trials. This role offers opportunities to lead grant proposals, author peer-reviewed publications, and mentor doctoral students and research staff. The associate will contribute to data analysis, conference presentations, and ongoing seminars and workshops, while working closely with Dr. Vujanovic and a multidisciplinary team to explore innovative research questions related to co-occurring PTSD and SUD.
Opportunities to Contribute

Qualifications

The Texas A&M Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management is hiring a Post-Doctoral Researcher to assist in executing projects related to grazing management and soil health. This position will be responsible for grazing management data entry, data analysis, database management, developing progress reports for sponsor and publication. This position will involve frequent communication with landowners and coordination with project partners, so effective communication skills are required. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills while being flexible in daily routine.
Texas A&M University's Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management (CGRM) aims to safeguard the ecologic and economic resiliency of grazingland resources and ranching operations with a focus on producer-directed, applied grazingland and ranch management research, outreach, and industry engagement. Major/Essential Duties of the Job
Collect and aggregate monthly grazing management data from various software platforms or personalized spreadsheets into one database
Review grazing management records for incomplete or inaccurate data and communicate with landowners to rectify inconsistencies
Input grazing management data into large project level databases and calculate grazing management metrics that will be used in data analysis
Frequent communication both via phone and email with landowners to effectively manage data quality
Manage the development and maintenance of large project level databases
Summarize data and create individual reports for landowners
Publish scientific manuscripts and present research at scientific conferences
Other duties as required.
Required Education:
PhD in rangeland management, animal science, environmental science, ecology, or related field

The Prairie View A&M University National Center for Infrastructure Transformation (NCIT) seeks a dynamic and motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Transportation Engineering. The postdoctoral researcher will lead and participate in interdisciplinary, funded research projects related to surface transportation infrastructure systems. The selected candidate is expected to have the necessary background, assist with expanding NCIT's external funding portfolio through grant proposals, as well as work collaboratively with the NCIT leadership and faculty researchers to plan, develop and implement programs that meet the goals of the US Department of Transportation University Transportation Center Program.
This position is funded by a grant or restricted funds. Continued employment is contingent on the renewal of grant or restricted funding.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support cutting-edge research in surface transportation infrastructure systems, systems engineering methodologies, and emerging transportation technologies.
Increase NCIT's research productivity by developing and submitting new proposals for funding and publishing high quality peer-reviewed journal articles and grant reports.
Collaborate with internal and external research teams on interdisciplinary projects that aligns with NCIT research pillars and core areas.
Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students with research projects and encourage them to present and publish.
Assist in the planning, designing, equipping and operationalizing of NICT research labs, by coordinating the procurement of equipment and software tools with guidance from the NCIT Director.
Participate in seminars, workshops, and outreach events to support personal growth and NCIT's professional development goals and objectives.

Required Education and Experience:
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a closely related transportation field or discipline.

Experience with research dissemination through technical conferences and high-quality peer-reviewed publications is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses.
Experiences in ArcGIS, AutoCAD products, MATLAB, Python, Synchro, VISSIM, and others are highly desired.
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of faculty, staff, and students.
Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving research environment.
