Job Summary
This position is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and reporting traffic incidents on Michigan's roadways, and coordinating with response agencies to manage the clearance of traffic incidents. It is a part time role with expected hours to be between 32-40 hours per week. Typical shifts are 5am-1pm weekdays, 11-7pm weekdays, and 8pm-6am in a 4 day workweek covering 2 weekdays and 2 weekend days.

Managing and logging traffic incidents in an advanced transportation management system software
Coordinating and dispatching incident response crews to incidents in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Detecting, confirming, and tracking equipment failures affecting control room operations (e.g., central system, computers, CCTV cameras, digital message signs, etc.)
Coordinating with local, regional, and statewide stakeholders on all control room activities by providing essential and timely incident information and status
Informing first responders of traffic related incidents involving injury and assisting with coordination of lane closures and diversion routes.
Coordinating incidents with local municipalities for resolution and information dissemination.
Dispatch, coordinate and communicate by radio with MDOT's Safety Service Patrol.

The Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Cultures seeks applicants for several full-time, fixed-term, non-tenure track assistant professors or instructors to join our dynamic, collaborative community of writing teachers. We hope to hire up to 10 new faculty. This is a nine-month, academic-year position to begin August 16, 2024. Typically, non-tenure system faculty in the department teach three courses each semester (fall and spring). These courses may be entirely First-Year Writing or a combination of First-Year Writing and courses in our undergraduate major and minor. Faculty are appointed at 90% teaching, 10% curriculum development (which can include departmental and college service, teaching-related professional development, teaching-related research, etc.). This full-time post-doctoral researcher will coordinate on-farm research and outreach/extension for a competitively-funded project involving 19 states. The project seeks to quantify resilience of diverse, perennial, circular forage systems to environmental, economic, and social stressors using on-farm data collected across the US.
The successful candidate will work with the multi-state agronomic research team to collect and analyze survey and soil sample data quantifying farm productivity, profitability, and soil health. The candidate will also work with graduate students conducting small plot research on crop resilience. The candidate is expected to publish on the impact of project initiatives in peer-reviewed journals as well as translate findings into extension publications for farmers, policymakers, and the public.

We are seeking full-time Sales Representatives who are career driven and posses unmatched people skills. White Water Marketing is expanding in the Lansing area which opens up new positions for our retail campaigns. Our clients need high energy, upbeat individuals with excellent customer service skills to represent them! With these partnerships, we help our clients with their branding as well as help to promote their company and what they have to offer.
This is an Entry Level position with the opportunity for advancement in campaign management as well.
