Major Responsibilities: Evaluates the patient's physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities and their impact on the patient's activities of daily living. Conducts an occupational therapy evaluation of each patient and establishes a plan of care and treatment. Maintains and updates accurate clinical and patient records according to state and federal guidelines. Plans and implements individual treatment to re-train and teach compensatory techniques for residual disability in activities of daily living, adapted homemaking techniques, bathroom transfers, functional application of mobility skills and, when appropriate, training in adapted work methods. Discusses caseload issues and changes in case census with management. Communicates problems to physicians and management and clearly states plans, actions and goals so changes are reflected as they occur. Position Description: Lead Field Service Engineer - Power Systems TMMG is seeking a Lead Field Service Engineer - Power Systems to plan, direct, and coordinate activities within the assigned technical department. The Lead Field Service Engineer - Power Systems is responsible to solve technical problems, develop applicable documentation, and supervise all assigned resources to support the Company's projects. He / She is also responsible for defining resource requirements to achieve schedule and budget commitments, and solving technical issues as they arise within the field of competence while interacting with other organizations and customers (internal and external). Role Summary: The Lead Field Service Engineer - Power Systems under general guidance and minimal supervision, performs a wide range of engineering tasks and ensures proper installation, service and commissioning of products and services. Provides technical support for installation and commissioning of projects and provides maintenance, breakdown emergency support and remote troubleshooting. Essential Responsibilities: As Lead Field Service Engineer - Power Systems: • Performs installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations during ship construction. Must be capable of working unsupervised and leading small teams. • Performs troubleshooting activities at site locations during scheduled Port visits or at sea to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions. • Performs a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of GEPC Power systems and associated control systems. • Develops presentations and provides training and instruction to customers on system operations. • Advise the customer of recommended upgrades, parts, and service opportunities to improve customer productivity and sell GE parts and services. • Performs other related engineering tasks to facilitate proper commissioning and customer satisfaction. • Provide on call support in response to customer calls for service. • Perform work on-board vessels within GE / Customer safety guidelines either in shipyards or offshore. • Extended hours / overtime maybe required during peak periods and emergency circumstances. • Domestic or overseas travel to customer sites for extended periods of time. Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of field service and/or commissioning experience • US Citizen with the ability to achieve security clearance for Department of Defense projects • Must be physically fit to be able to board vessels offshore. • Must be able to pass a HUET and offshore survival course which includes activities in a swimming pool. Desired Characteristics: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university (or Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum 3 additional years of related field service experience in a field service/ commissioning environment with Power systems and associated control systems). • Switchgear- Medium Voltage and Low Voltage • Circuit Breakers- MCCBs, ACBs, VCBs • Sensing Instruments- PTs, CTs, Transducers • Transformers- phase shifting transformers for VFD application. • Motor Control Centers (MCCs)- Basic Starters with Start/ Stop, Multi Speed Starters, Wye-Delta Starters, Hand/ Off/ Auto control, Local/ Remote control. • Soft Starters/ VFDs • Transfer Switches- Manual and Auto • Protection Relays- Generator, Transformer, Feeder, Motor, and Bus • Enhanced generator protection schemes • Power Quality meters • Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR)- Generator Excitation Control for synchronizing and load sharing. • Governors- Engine Speed control for synchronizing and load sharing. • Synchronizers/ Sync Check Relays • Load Sharing Systems • Ability to execute increasingly complicated assignments, which require considerable engineering skill and creative ability and independent judgment.
