Jennifer L. Sherman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Federal Signal Corporation. Ms. Sherman has operational responsibility for Federal Signal's domestic and international businesses. Ms. Sherman has worked with the board and executive leadership team to strengthen the Company's strategic focus and growth, promote margin improvements, and achieve record financial results. Ms. Sherman negotiated a pivotal sale of underperforming assets and lowered Company debt levels. Ms. Sherman also maintains operational leadership of the legal, human resources, and government affairs activities for the corporation and its global subsidiaries. Ms. Sherman serves on the Board of Directors of Franklin Electric. Additionally, she serves as the Vice Chairman of The Community House, a non-profit organization that provides social services for the greater Chicago area and is a member of the Executive Board of the Center for Disability and Elder Law (CDEL), a Chicago-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged citizens obtain legal assistance. CDEL awarded Ms. Sherman with Outstanding Corporate Counsel awards in 2005 and 2006.
