Job Description
Objective: The Master Planner will oversee the planning and maintenance of orders in the ERP system through order entry, work order creation, scheduling, and product shipment in accordance with our customer's requirements. Works closely with supply chain and manufacturing regarding materials, manpower, and equipment requirements and priorities.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of managing complex supply chains in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing ERP systems (Sage X3 preferred).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and establish production planning processes through cross-functional collaboration between sales, engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Drive on time shipments through creation of daily production schedules that optimize capacity utilization, raw material allocation, WIP, and finish good inventory levels.
• Establish planning controls and inventory levels that can accommodate forecast fluctuations, with keen attention to production lot sizes.
• Coordinate and monitor daily performance, production output, scheduling commitments, on time releases, overdue releases, etc.
• Manage material requirement planning data and issue work orders to the production floor that optimizes manpower, machinery utilization, and inventory levels.
• Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, customer drop-in requests, supply chain disruptions, unplanned absences, or equipment breakdowns.
• Work closely with purchasing to ensure sufficient supplies of parts and materials are available.
• Interface effectively with internal and external customers and support teams.
• Generate reports and analyses to assess the effectiveness of planning strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate performance metrics to relevant stakeholders and propose corrective actions as needed.
Pay Range: $80,000-95,000.
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Observe and monitor weld processes for conformance to established WPS as Welding Coordinator
Is authorized to interrupt any welding process found out of compliance with established WPS.
Will immediately inform the area supervisor of the non-conformance and production interruption.

Possess a general knowledge of Metal fabrication processes, techniques, and engineering including but not limited to CNC blanking, press brakes, stamping, machining, and finishing processes.
