The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.
**Required Education/Experience:**
+ BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) of BSCE ( Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university
+ The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
+ Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
**Desired Education/Experience:**
+ Minimum 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA)
+ Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying
+ Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable
+ Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired
+ Familiarity with design, drafting or engineering software such as MATHCAD, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, etc. as well as Microsoft Excel is beneficial.

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Rockville, MD. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will assist in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure in our community.
Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements
Perform engineering calculations and analyze data to support project designs
Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various aspects of civil engineering projects
Assist in the preparation of project reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures
Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. As a key member of our engineering department, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of various infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Develop and review civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water systems
Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and project feasibility
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering components into larger projects
Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any engineering challenges
