Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage MEP projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Familiarity with commercial construction practices and codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, and manufacturing environments is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing:
Responsible for the work of other engineers and technicians; plans and organizes airport project assignments
Serve as a client contact to airport boards/commissions and airport clients as assigned
Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies
Develop, coordinate and review the final design and preparation of plans and specifications
Provides technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members
Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction
Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and reports
Perform effective technical writing and correspondence
Perform business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.)
Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff
Apply broad understanding of civil engineering and other fields to reach innovative and interdependent solutions
Assists with the training and development of professional and technical staff
Develops relationships with regulatory agencies
Travel periodically to work sites and other project related location
What We Are Looking For:
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa
A minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field is preferred
Experience in plan development and construction contract administration
Proven ability to lead the design and preparation of construction documents for projects
Project delivery experience working directly with clients preferred
