Job Description:
To act as the Owner's representative and office within the client's office in the Texas area. To oversee all aspects of the station and line facilities construction including interconnect, site work, status reporting, owner purchased material, monitoring safety, startup and commissioning, and project closeout. This position is responsible for the overall management of the assigned project area, to ensure compliance with required budgetary, scheduling, and quality goals. Employees in this role coordinate and report on the construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. Client will train on their processes and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Supports the management of POWER's Project Quality Program (PQP) on the project.
**Required Skills & Experience:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or currently possess an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering and are working on Bachelor's Degree.
+ Minimum of 5 (five) years experience in Transmission Operations, Construction, Engineering, or equivalent education.
+ Develops, revises, and maintains construction schedules and detailed construction sequence documents to minimize facility outages and to minimize risks to the electric system.
+ Able to build, maintain and communicate critical path schedules that will be the most cost-effective for the region.
+ Responsible for the creation of construction material work packages.

+ Assist in Project-related system (line/equipment) outage planning, coordination, and outage system database entry.
+ Ability to read and review drawings and identify the required bill of materials.

Pay Range:
* Locations in MN, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $ 88,300.00 - Max Salary $ 128,000.00
* Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 97,100.00 - Max Salary $ 140,800.00
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

- Provide leadership and mentoring to the project team
- Develop & maintain schedules, lead project status meetings with project teams, oversee budgets, participate in proposal preparation, take a leading role in client relationships
- Work primarily with Power Delivery, but may also interface with other divisions, based on the nature of any particular project
- This position will primarily have local travel to regional clients
- Demonstrated Project Management skills should include CPM scheduling, budget and cost analysis, managing project teams, as well as proposal writing, client marketing, and project presentations
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University required engineering, engineering management, or construction management discipline OR 10+ years of professional experience in the electric power and communications industry
- Ten (10) + years of applicable industry experience
- Five (5) + years of relevant project management experience
- Relevant experience includes small- to medium-scale project management, and/or project-lead engineering experience on projects
- Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools required
- General understanding of transmission systems required
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with regional utilities in the respective region
- PE registration is desired
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred

Base Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
The range for this position is displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
