Pros of working at POWER Engineers

Best job I’ve had in Boise! They treat you like gold. There’s a very positive, supportive, respectful atmosphere. Pay is great, bonuses, benefits.

Cons of working at POWER Engineers

Management is comprised of people that have been there from the beginning. Seniority does not equal good management skills. My manager is not great. Good worker bee, very task-oriented but I have not gotten adequate training. Though employees are very empowered. No one is breathing down your neck but in my situation it has been too-hands off. I only got 3.5 days of orientation. Half the time they got pulled away to their own work duties. So I effectively got maybe 2 full days days max. Minimal check-ins.

POWER Engineers benefits

Bonus, beverage Friday and amazing camaraderie and collaboration. Treated with incredible respect. An experience I really haven’t had before. Overall I love it. Best job I’ve ever had!
