The company split in 2004 due to more unethical behavior from one of the partners in the form of getting replicas of the original machines made in China.
Not too behind the times, New Zealand first introduced Power Plate in 2004, and, in a case of “you have to try it to believe it”, has developed an avid following of users and fitness and health professionals who cannot imagine life without it.
In 2006 it had a small hic-cup when a contactor released faulty electronics and it itself had to make a decision weather to try and cover it up, or fix the problem.
