QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Eligible bidders who have had at least three years' applicable experience in operation of power facility and system comparable to plant site system or by satisfactorily completing one year in service as a Power Operator Second Class. Must have a valid State drivers' license and be able to operate standard automatic transmission vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for operation of the power system and
controlling voltage power factors and bus loading of Substation, electrics Systems. May not leave position without proper relief. Must follow safe procedures because of hazardousconditions in switchyards. Sufficient background to recognize conditions in switchyards and deficiencies and correct without interruption. Assists in training of lessor qualified individuals.
GENERAL SUMMARY
After training must assume control of heavily loaded switchboards. Must stand or walk most of the time. Performs both manual and log work. Must be able to act and react independently.
