Lead the design and engineering efforts of energy storage projects and the integration of energy storage in microgrids and other distributed energy resources projects. Evaluate and analyze energy storage technologies, products, and vendors, and support clients with technology and vendor selection and implementation. Support developers, utilities, and other clients with identifying, defining, and implementing use-cases for energy storage systems Working Knowledge of sizing energy storage systems and techno-economic modeling using DER-CAM, UL Homer, and others. Develop code compliance documentation for energy storage projects using NFPA 855, NFPA 70, and UL9540/A, including developing hazard mitigation analysis, fire response plans, and operation and maintenance procedures. Experience with energy storage in both utility-scale and/or large industrial facilities, including the following design types, is strongly preferred: battery technology/ chemistry selection, battery sizing, one-line development, site arrangements, inverter selection, cable ampacity calculations, grounding, protective relaying, and associated systems design and construction administration. Serve as PSE's Subject Matter Expert on all things Energy Storage. Assist in Leading and developing a high-performing team of engineers and technicians through mentorship. Act as a company representative at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance visibility, build relationships, and stay informed on industry trends. Develop and publish technical articles, white papers, and presentations to showcase expertise, contribute to thought leadership, and support business development efforts. What You Will Need: Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with Power Systems Focus 5+ years' experience working in the electrical engineering industry with a minimum of 2+ years, specifically in the energy storage electrical engineering industry. PE (Professional Engineer) Licensure or the ability to get one within a year. Experience working in commercial & industrial electrical engineering a plus Master's degree in electrical engineering a plus NABCEP certification or willingness to get one. Knowledge and Skills Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, SKM, ETAP, and SEL Relays. Experience with industry-standard design codes, such as NEC, International Building Codes, International Fire Codes, and other relevant standards. Working knowledge of applicable NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize work and resources Possess the ability to achieve quality results, be change-oriented, foster innovation, and be a continuous learner. This position is responsible for planning and execution of the maintenance activities to effectively balance operating reliability against maintenance costs while meeting plant goals for safety and productivity. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** STATION OPERATION SUPPORT 1. Review work requests (WR) to ensure that all necessary information is entered and clear. Approve or disapprove WRs and provide timely feedback on status and information to requester. 2. Prepare detailed work order packages as needed for maintenance work to include craft requirements, tools and equipment requirements, clearances and permits, work methods, plans, specs and/or manuals, and identify need for coordination instructions for cross-craft or outside services. 3. Develops and updates equipment master records, including parts lists, inspections, lubrication and other PM requirements and warranties. Coordinates and may enter maintenance history, criticality and hierarchical position. Enter new equipment records for replacements, projects and capital improvements, including appropriate parts lists and baselines. 4. Determine material and parts availability as part of the work order planning process, keeping jobs out of "ready to schedule" status until parts availability is confirmed. Originates stores requests and purchase requisitions as needed. 5.
