Production Planner
STATUS: Salary-Exempt
Prepare, create, schedule and release hardware production orders. Partner with Buyers to track part deliveries vendor to vendor through the supply chain. Maintain production and planned orders in SAP inclusive of all changing requirements. Drive organization to ensure on-time delivery by controlling and reporting production order performance, capacity requirement analysis, and communicating vendor status and delivery time data. This position will require some production floor interaction but will mostly consist of working within the SAP system in support of planning & scheduling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
Daily evaluation and release of planned orders in SAP system, checking BOMs for accuracy/availability prior to release, checking and correcting/adjusting capacity constraints and communicating potential bottlenecks with Production Scheduler & other Planners.
Ability to understand and monitor manufacturing value streams for different products.
Real time, daily updates to date fields, capacities and other required inputs into SAP to ensure constant accuracy of WIP orders through MRP.
Create & maintain production routing books on the production floor.
Timely approval of changes in demand and updates to various databases and reports.
Planning/scheduling of outsourced production via BOM's, coordination with Purchasing to ensure PO placements are timely and due dates are acceptable, monitoring progress of parts at a series of outsourced suppliers and the PSM Workshop.
Understand cost structure and ensure hardware is issued to correct accounts.
Ensure accounting is correct before technically closing production orders.
Track status of all applicable BOM parts, issue pick tickets to logistics/supply chain.
Lead and/or assist with cross-functional improvement projects.
Interface effectively with supply chain organization for weekly supplier meetings, ADP approvals and status of Purchase Req fulfillment and Purchase Order delivery.
Work with Quality and Engineering teams to understand & resolve technical roadblocks.
Interface with manufacturing workshop floor leadership daily
Support various production & alignment meetings with timely and accurate updates.
Ensure outgoing customer shipments are supported and executed on time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field preferred

Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the mechanical design engineer will be responsible for the design and development of gas turbine (GT) auxiliaries such as inlet bleed heat and exhaust bleed manifolds and piping as well as GT fuel control skids, combustion, and cooling components in support of combustion systems conversions and upgrades.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) auxiliaries and components, assemblies and systems to meet fit, form and functional requirements.
Interface with other technical disciplines such as Aerothermal, Structural, and Manufacturing Engineering to develop designs that meet all applicable criteria.
Analyze components to ensure parts maintain appropriate stress levels, meet life requirements and design criteria. Select materials, coatings, and weld fillers as needed for the applicable temperature and stress levels.
Review and understand OEM component material, design features, and cooling configurations to understand design intent. Compare various designs between different engines (based on manufacturer), different versions (based on design evolution over time), and different part numbers with the goal of identifying most effective solutions.
Assist Drafting, Configuration Management and Field Service groups with part numbers, assembly numbers, system level configurations, and other configuration related activities for both PSM and OEM hardware.
Provide technical information and system level configurations for PSM's upgrade systems to commercial team and customers. Facilitate customized solutions based on specific customer engine configurations. Conduct reviews of relevant data such as components and performance of specific upgrades with internal and external teams.
Work across departments with Supply Chain, Field Service and Commercial Teams for technical support as requested. Support roles include technical responsibility for troubleshooting at vendors and customers sites as necessary.
Visit power plants and customer sites during outages in support of the Field Service group. Support initial installation of PSM hardware, review of engine run hardware for field durability issues and of documentation of various configurations.
Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting for engine failures or durability shortfalls.
Assess needs and identify critical path schedules for design, manufacturing and procurement activities.
Create, lead and/or deliver presentations to internal and external clients.
Participate in internal discipline related meetings and training sessions, as well as external technical conferences and customer events.
Mentor and train interns and less experienced peers as required.
Travel up to 15% to support customer outages and vendor related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Set-up and installation of welding equipment
Execution of welding on gas turbine components as per the required technical specification

Minimum Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Essential duties & responsibilities
The essential functions of the job include the following:
Lead day-to-day transportation activities, ensuring accurate and on-time execution of inbound and outbound shipments.
Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments on logistics-related matters.
Utilize TMS software (Kuebix preferred) for load planning, carrier selection, routing, and shipment tracking.
Coordinate expedited and high-priority shipments (hot shots, dedicated trucks, air freight) to meet urgent production or customer requirements.
Support contract rate negotiations and carrier performance reviews in collaboration with the Logistics Manager.
Oversee preparation of shipping documentation including bills of lading, export documents, and customs/TIB paperwork.
Ensure full traceability and proper handling of serialized, customer-owned, and high-value turbine components.
Track freight costs, delivery performance, and vendor KPIs; recommend improvements to reduce cost and enhance reliability.
Partner cross-functionally with warehouse, production, engineering, and procurement teams to align logistics support with project schedules.
Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international trade regulations.
Train and support logistics coordinators and drivers in standard work processes, documentation accuracy, and TMS utilization.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
3+ years of transportation and logistics experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Hands-on experience with TMS software (Kuebix preferred).
Proven success coordinating expedited shipments (hot shots, dedicated, same-day, and air freight).
Working knowledge of freight modes (LTL, FTL, parcel, air, international) and handling requirements for heavy or oversized equipment.

Mechanical Project Engineer

The Mechanical Project Engineer will provide onsite and remote support to determine part acceptance and perform evaluation for use and reconditioning as it relates to operational and installation concerns related to PSM and OEM Compressor, Combustion and Hot Gas Path hardware for Industrial Gas Turbines (IGT) operation. This position will coordinate with Product Line areas to analyze mechanical, materials and engine data to evaluate hardware condition and provide disposition for operation, life cycle and repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
Serve as first line support and entry point for technical inquiries, product assessments and dispositions related to assembly/disassembly issues and operational distress of PSM and OEM Compressor, Combustor, and Hot Gas Path hardware for a variety of Industrial Gas Turbines.
Provide input to project management to support development of outage and installation procedures and schedules.
Identify, develop and coordinate corrective actions for manufacturing and service induced deviations of components.
Understand and define customer problems/concerns and coordinate with PSM Field Service Engineering, PSM Project Management, PSM Reconditioning Engineering, and PSM R&D Engineering as required to ensure technical goals, commercial obligations and operational requirements can be achieved.
Initiate and support Root Cause Analyses (RCA), product non-conformances, 8D analyses as related to investigations per established Quality initiatives and provide input into process and tools to capture fleet and field issues.
Coordinate and provide technical inputs/disposition into Field Service reports.
Perform inspections and assessments of fielded PSM Compressor, Combustor and Hot Gas Path hardware as required for design life validation / verification, and support of commercial projects. This may include performing borescope inspections of GTs in the field band/or reviewing and assessing borescope results from third parties and customers.
Document and present technical recommendations/findings in technical reports, specifications to both internal and external customers.
Promote and ensure all associates and operations are complying with applicable facility rules & regulations and related company policies & procedures.
Required to carry a company provided cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
Promote a safe working environment through existing EHS initiatives and the proposal of new EHS initiatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
