The Sr. Technical Thermal Sales Engineer, Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) drives the sales of thermal management equipment by providing technical expertise and guidance. Must have a basic knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to understand hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Must have a basic ability to diagnose the root cause of a problem and adjust lubrication as required. Must have a basic level of knowledge and experience reading mechanical drawings and service manuals. Excellent attendance required. Must possess good organizational and communication skills. Team oriented, self-motivated, safety and quality conscious; requiring minimal supervision. Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis. May be required to operate basic shop equipment (hoist, forklift, scissor lift, etc.) Must be able to work in confined areas, climb ladders, and work at heights of 50 feet. Must be able to wear a respirator. Must be willing to continuously improve technical knowledge. Must be able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job. What you will do The Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, using relationships, and closing new business for Johnson Controls Security and ensuring customer retention. The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for securing profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing and discontinued Johnson Controls Security Commercial customers while improving customer satisfaction and retention by initiating post installation follow-ups. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $52,000 - $69,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
