The Hospital Patient Transporter is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients, medical equipment, and other essential items throughout the hospital. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely patient care and maintaining smooth hospital operations. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to various departments (e.g., radiology, surgery, discharge). Assist patients in and out of transport vehicles, beds, and wheelchairs as needed. Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport, including proper use of restraints and equipment. Deliver medical records, specimens, medications, and equipment between departments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of transport equipment.
