You will manage: 4 Manufacturing Sites in 2 different Countries (Sylmar CA, Huntsville AL, Grand Prairie, TX in the USA & Casaletto Vaprio, Italy) The Transparencies Supply Chain CoE Manager Key Responsibilities Be actively engaged in Safety and Quality; lead by example and ensure operational discipline and compliance with both company and regulatory standards and requirements are fulfilled for all departments on site. Regularly monitor and review Environmental, Health, and Safety performance; ensure compliance and continuous improvement in striving for a risk-free manufacturing environment. Build and develop an operations and supply chain culture that has a bias for action, commitment to value-added services/processes, and a sense of accountability and leadership. Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators; lead corrective action to deviations to plan as appropriate. Facilitate communications throughout the sites and within the respective Business, Program, and Functional teams offsite. Collaborate with the Functional teams leading S&OP, Supplier Management and Development, and Procurement aligning on both the tactical and strategic needs of the business. Provide the critical thinking necessary to lead and direct the analysis of alternative approaches and methodologies necessary to deliver efficiencies and simplicity. Strive to ensure that the service requirements for performance, as dictated by internal and external customers, are achieved. Develop and manage the strategies and processes of the operational functions within the business; ensure alignment and progress on process standardization, accomplishment, and collaboration. Delegates work assignments and tasks while matching responsibilities to the employee; sets expectations and monitors performance while providing feedback and recognition of results. Deliver financial commitments to operating plans; achieve expense, variance, and production plans as budgeted. Actively participate in Working Capital management; including regular communication and action to address deviations to plan. Anticipate technological changes in the industry and review opportunities to enhance operations in order to optimize productivity, support business growth, and deliver competitive advantages. Generate ideas and plans to enhance the performance of the manufacturing site, e.g., safety, process, rate, yields and quality improvement through lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts. Stimulate plant managers and sites personnel to think outside the box. Drive the root cause/corrective action process for critical issues and ensure that all corrective actions are completed and sustained and drive the predicted results. Conformance with the PPG and SBU Quality and EH&S policies. Ensure MOCs, RCCA for EHS CARs and Quality CARs are completed as expected. Qualifications Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline, engineering preferred. 10+ years of operations and engineering experience, in a discrete manufacturing operation Experience in highly regulated low volume high mix engineered products manufacturing environment. 5+ years of management/supervisory experience. Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering, operations, or other technical disciplines required. Lean/Six Sigma certification(s) and demonstrated expertise in Lean Line Design. Green Belt or higher certification preferred. Proficiency with data analytics systems and software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel, ERP systems) required.
