As a Technical Service Representative (TSR), you will support the Packaging Coatings segment focusing on west coast accounts. You will manage technical service activities used at packaging manufacturing customer's plants! The TSSR will work directly with internal and external teams to improve the performance of PPG products and work on mutually valuable projects with our customers. You will help advise overall scheduling of TSSR resources for US and Canadian (USCA) including contractors and lead major customer product Secure Launches. You will report to the USCA Technical Sales and Service Representative Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple customer sites while collaborating with customers at various levels to ensure quality and expectations is meeting customer requirements.
Delegate PPG coating technologies to operate successfully in and sometimes outside the established customer operating window.
Handle pre-sales and/or post-sales technical support including commissioning, installation, testing and maintenance service to customers.
May be asked to lead projects, assist with process improvements, and look for cost savings for the customer.
Coordinate, investigate, and recommend new business tools for users as requested.
Qualifications
High School Diploma with a technical background in Chemistry and/or Engineering with 10+ years of proven experience in the can making industry.
Experience with customer quality systems and processes.
May travel extensively in support of key customer programs.

Conagra Brands - Indianapolis is looking to add to our production team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. and report to the production team lead. Machine operators safely operate equipment to produce quality product, clean equipment, and other tasks to support packaging and processing areas.
Compensation:
Starting pay $23.12/hour plus shift differentials for hours worked on 2nd and 3rd shift.
Shifts Available:
Night Shift is 6PM - 6:30AM rotating M-W for 3 weeks then Th-S for 3 weeks.
You Will:
Safely operate, perform preventative maintenance, and perform corrective maintenance on plant machinery to exceed planned performance measures.
Perform quality checks as specified in procedures.
Partner with the line lead to determine opportunities for cross training.
Follow all training documents for job on assigned line.
Participate in cleaning processes.
Communicate with line lead and maintenance to ensure issues with assigned equipment are fixed promptly.
Participate in all plant audits for assigned area.
Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Experience working in a production, manufacturing or distribution environment for 3+ months
Experience operating a sit down and standup double reach forklifts
Preferred:

Experience work in a USDA, FDA, OSHA, or GMP compliant environment

+ Resolves all invoice exceptions by working with finance, accounts payable, material handling, and other raw buyer(s)

the Customer experience through product quality improvement initiatives by leading

Primary Job Responsibilities:
● Lead quality projects to support the plant quality strategy, improving and reducing
Customer claims and internal losses.
● Provide daily quality support to the Finishing and Coating teams through internal
quality issue investigations and product disposition. Lead cross-functional teams
through the investigation of the internal quality issues, execute the containment
plan and plan accordingly to address the root cause of the quality issue.
● Lead Customer quality problem-solving effort from investigation, list of
hypotheses & evaluation, root cause analysis & implementation of robust
solution, to reporting the progress to stakeholders on a regular basis with clear
communication on status, findings and next steps. This includes Customer visits
and Customer calls. Provide the corrective action plan as needed.
● Initiates supplier quality claims through the SCAR process, provides required
samples and data to suppliers and collaborates with operations, suppliers, and
the Divisional team throughout the investigation and root cause analysis. Lead
supplier calls as needed. Provide rapid updates to stakeholders on the progress
and next steps.
● Works with Procurement, Marketing, R&D and Process Engineering team
through the development and qualification of a new raw supplier and reports any

● Provides support through site audit preparation, ISO 9001-2015 Internal &
External, Customer Audits days and support through assigned audit findings and
proper corrective and preventive actions per timeline.
● Creates, maintains and releases standard operating procedures, work
instructions and controlled and documented information through the AODocs
system (QMS system). Completes the document reviews per review period.
● Maintains and improves Quality metrics reporting tools
● Participates in the Plant MDI & MWI process and supports quality-related actions

Qualifications

Ability to work independently and lead a team.
Experience performing mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Experience with electrical circuitry including: repairing and replacing motors, logic controls and process troubleshooting.
Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems, correcting them using a variety of tools and blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs, and creating parts lists with pricing for parts.
Able to learn all plant operational equipment and processes.
Expert in using shop tools such as Lathe, Mills, precision installation and PdM tools.

While performing the tasks of this job, you are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. You will be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
