Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, at our Archbold, OH facility, local producers of La Choy, Vienna Sausage, Dennison's and Wolf Chili, you will be a technical expert taking process ownership over the line structure. You will oversee the data and ensure that the line is achieving its goals using Conagra's improvement systems, including Centerlines, CIL, Daily Direction Setting, and Changeover.
Position Responsibilities
Own Daily Management Systems (DMS) for Business Unit, including the creation and implementation of standards
Leverage technical knowledge of equipment functionality to improve reliability of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Develop employee capabilities of systems, standards, and technical understanding
Foster a culture of technological transformation through the use and improvement of digital tools
Analyze data across Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives
Lead small groups in problem solving activities using structured methodologies
Manage small projects independently using appropriate tools within the Conagra Performance System (CPS)
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, etc.)
Lead capital project initiatives for Business Unit
Responsible for providing direct oversight, administering discipline, and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures across their respective teams.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
1+ years of experience
Experience with continuous improvement tools and statistical tools
Technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and equipment
Exposure to SAP or Power BI system
Problem-solving skills and can define problems, collect data, establish facts, and make conclusions.

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. The Manufacturing Process & Packaging Engineer (interally called a Senior Systems Engineer) role provides technical leadership and serves as a system and product specialist. They are responsible to build the team's processing technical skills through a hands-on approach. They are accountable for the operational foundational systems across systems they own and to the plant to secure basic conditions and drive out losses with the platform team. This role will be focused on Chex Processing at the Cincinnati plant. The Cincinnati plant is part of the Morning Foods operating unit, servicing the cereal business. The plant has four processing systems (two batch lattice, one twin screw hybrid, and one twin screw direct expanded), with each system feeding packaging lines. The plant operates 3-crew structure with traditional 8-hour shifts. It is a union workforce and is part of the BCTGM local 256G.
The Senior Systems Engineer I plays a critical role to continuously improve by optimizing system performance and product quality while driving strategic productivity and capacity solutions for the platform and ultimately the business. This level showcases a Sr. Systems Engineer's knowledge and foundation to build the capability of others. This role centers on consistent manufacturing performance, problem-solving, and improvement. It involves significant floor time to understand manufacturing processes, coupled with development within the Systems Engineering JTA. The primary focus is improvement and loss elimination activities aligned with system glidepath and future state goals. This includes supporting team skill development inclusive of content development and talent assessments, and advocating for system investments, articulating their financial impact to plant leadership for annual planning. As knowledge expands, credibility as a strategic partner with Engineering, Ops and ITQ will increase. This will allow more intentional focus on other systems and to engage in business plans.

Job Description
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for reducing product and process variation through the use of Six Sigma / statistical tools and the implementation or improvement of existing procedures and process controls.
In this critical role, you will also be responsible for:

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $97,050- $131,700/ year. The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Production Engineer will assist engineers and manufacturing staff with business-critical projects that support daily operations, safety, quality and productivity improvements of our products and processes. This position will cover existing operations and help with our expansion projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Consults with design engineers on features needed for new or existing installation.
* Prepares purchase requisitions or work orders to obtain needed tools or parts for the installation.
* Coordinates staff and assist in set-up die and equipment assembly and debugging for installations to ensure on-time completion.
* Investigates and resolves engineering related manufacturing problems.
* Compares dimensions of parts to blueprints, and resolve differences by revising or redesigning, utilizing 2D & 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD & SolidWorks) and Inventor Programs.
* Assists with satellite plant installations, as needed, including set-up, assembly, problem solving and follow-up to project completion.
* Analysis of data, evaluation of results and creation of technical reports, recommending further actions to be taken
* Working on cross disciplinary teams to solve manufacturing problems in the field
* Reporting project progress to Senior Management
* Working with Tool and Die shop to develop tooling packages for production equipment
* Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar engineering area
* 3-5 years manufacturing engineering experience
* Experience with mechanical design, gear design, cam design, and/or food packaging machinery design
* Proficient with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor design software
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Background in Lean/6-Sigma preferred
* Prior leadership experience preferred
* Understanding of the use of statistics in manufacturing
* Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required
* High level of independent thinking and resourcefulness to develop and propose solutions to problems
* Ability to interface with various levels of staff from peers to management, to production employees
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
