Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required, Chemistry courses are helpful.
1+ year of experience.

Experience with ISO 9001 is helpful.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the tending of one or more automated or manual testing/production machines or equipment that perform one or more functions in the making of beverage can lids. POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the tending of one or more automated or manual testing/production machines or equipment that perform one or more functions in the making of beverage can lids. * Handle, organize and store all chemical substances, fluids and compressed gases in the manner outlined in the Safety Data Sheet provided by the manufacturer
* Work alone and in teams across all departments.
* Complete verifications in testing, standards, equipment, and instruments to ensure accurate performance.
* Communicate with other departments as necessary (in person, radio, email and telephone).

* Other assigned tasks and responsibilities as needed/directed by manager. Assume Quality Food Safety Coordinator responsibilities when necessary.
* Support Food Safety Culture by performing Job Cycle Checks in the field with the intention of aligning knowledge across departments
* Maintains adequate supplies used for testing and notifies the manager of the need to re-order such supplies.
* Continually compares test results with standards, as required, to ensure that all products are within specification.

* Preferred analytical laboratory experience
* Position requires basic computer operation skills, i.e. use of "point and click" programs, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook, OneNote), and different software programs for the instruments.
* Understands that accidents are preventable and that safety is everyone's responsibility
* Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
* Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties.
* Must be capable of working from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and able to lift 30 lbs
* Must be willing to adhere to all personal protective equipment requirements
* Must be comfortable in a manufacturing plant environment
* Must be able to handle dangerous chemicals in a safe manner
* Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Education or Work Experience
* High School Diploma or GED required, Associates in an applied science preferred
* Experience in a food/feed manufacturing facility is preferred
* PCQI, HACCP certifications is preferred
