As a ProductionSupervisor, Night Shift, working onsite in Cleveland, OH, you will report to the Production Superintendent to mentor safety, quality and productivity of teams to ensure goals are met through the development of and adherence to standardized work. Through process confirmation and building worker accountability, you will ensure that the shift is running safely, efficiently, and producing quality products. This is a 12-hour rotating night shift working 4pm to 4:30am. Must be open to possible weekend night shift assignment. Overtime will be available.
Main Responsibilities:
Build a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities.
Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents.
Resolve workflow problems by analyzing impediments and organizing work to improve use of personnel and material resources.
Assign work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes on daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput.
Help to maintain the safety program to minimize accidents and injuries and to ensure a safe working environment.
Support problem resolution with cross-functional teams, including the Quality department, Engineers, and others.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
5+ years experience in production with previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, to bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to use ERP systems

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Ability to interact, coach and provide guidance to individuals.
* Understanding of complex process systems and the maintenance of the equipment.
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; must build relationships and trust with teams.
* Proven ability to understand business goals and cascade directionally to the team
* Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop solutions.
* Knowledge of and experience with the process/equipment, hazards, failure modes, RCFA, and complexity of various maintenance restoration techniques and methodologies
* Knowledge of and experience with the Maintenance Work Management Process (WMP).
* Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and/or other shop floor systems.
* Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision.
Preferred qualifications:
* Kapton process or maintenance experience.
* Prior supervisory experience, either in a permanent or detail role.

We're seeking a Supervisor, Kit Production to lead and develop a high-performing kit production team committed to excellence in quality, safety, and efficiency. In this role, you'll collaborate across departments to set production priorities, implement strategic plans, and continuously enhance processes through Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives. You'll ensure production schedules are executed with precision, maintain and improve SOPs and work instructions, monitor key performance metrics, and drive corrective actions to optimize outcomes. Through proactive staffing, training, and performance management, you'll build a skilled, motivated team that meets Thermo Fisher Scientific's operational and regulatory standards while achieving ongoing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing personnel to ensure flawless execution of production schedules and adherence to quality standards.
Advise the daily work to ensure schedule completion while leading utilization and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine manufacturing priorities and successfully implement production plans.
Maintain a quality system by following SOP's and work instructions and updating as needed.
Promote Practical Process Improvement (PPI) to achieve cost savings goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
Assist in preparing and maintaining SOP's for department and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
Supervise production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the manufacturing area.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and competencies.
Ensure employees follow company policies and performance managers when vital.
Maintain the staffing plan and develop a highly productive and efficient team.
Keys to Success
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 5 years).
1+ year of leadership responsibility

and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the
