Overview
This position is accountable for participating in the vision and strategy for the Transmission Siting Organization, by overseeing the siting of new lines and substations, rebuilds, and program work on the electric transmission system. The objective of this position is to assure that siting work conducted on PPLs behalf adheres to regulatory requirements and internal processes and procedures. The position demands professional knowledge of siting, and the ability to coordinate with various functional organizations and contractors to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization.

**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:** Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Installs, inspects, maintains, tests, removes, surveys and verifies electric meters and metering systems, instrument transformers and various meter peripherals such as KYZ pulses and customer communication meter data links. QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

We are hiring qualified Journey Line Workers to work throughout our service territory in Distribution. Open positions are predominantly in Pennsylvania, however additional locations and classifications could become available at any time based on changing business needs.
Journey Line Workers are responsible for building and maintaining electric power systems and for restoring electric service to commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential customers. They are expected to test, frame and set poles; climb poles, work in confined spaces; splice and terminate cables. Our Lineman will have had successfully completed a federal or state sanctioned apprenticeship (with approved supporting documentation) and/or IBEW sponsored line worker apprenticeship. Work is predominantly outdoors and in all weather conditions. Linemen must be able to drive safely, work extended hours; travel/transfer to new headquarter upon request at any time (General Construction Positions), and wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment.

Position Summary:
Develop, analyze, manage, coordinate and support various Universal Service Program (low income assistance programs) metrics and reports for UGI Gas and Electric Division's Universal Service Programs to assist with regulatory filings. Lead efforts to automate and utilize the Department of Human Services (DHS) data sharing of customer information for LIHEAP recipients. Review and analyze customer data to ensure eligibility for new and continued enrollments into UGI's low-income assistance programs. Partner with the Digital Marketing Team to coordinate the creation of marketing campaigns compliant with regulatory commitments while targeting LIHEAP customers for enrollment into programs. Assist in the creation of monthly management reporting including details on customer participation, spending, energy savings realized, etc. for all Customer Assistance Programs. Assist with data analysis and program management efforts for other strategic regulatory initiatives such as the LIURP Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and auto enrollment of UGI Electric customers into CAP.
Regulatory Commitments:

* Create new Universal Service Program monthly reporting criteria and associated metrics for use by internal management as well as assistance with required regulatory filings.

Job Summary
To assist in the provision of engineering and project management focused on extending and preserving ED's distribution system capability to serve both new and existing customers in a reliable, safe, timely, and economic manner. Resolve complex service problems.
**This position is fully onsite 5 days a week in Wilkes-Barre, PA.**
Duties and Responsibilities
Design medium expansions to the distribution system to serve new customers and new load of existing customers. Meet with residential and small single/three phase business customers or their agent(s) to identify their service requirements, explain ED's requirements, and process for extending service, and authorize new service entrance locations. Produce the necessary design documents to accomplish the project, obtain the necessary right-of-way and permits, stake out the project in the field, deliver the design to C&M, and schedule the construction to be completed in time to meet the customer's needs.
Identify and design medium distribution system projects to improve the safety, reliability, and adequacy of service to existing customers. This includes secondary modernization, re-sectionalizing, load balancing, transformer and recloser change out, and small distribution line conversion, relocations and end of life replacement projects. Produce the necessary design documents to accomplish these projects, obtain the required rights-of-way and permits, stake out the project in the field, and deliver the design to C&M in a timely manner
Troubleshoot and resolve service problems such as fluctuating lights, stray voltage, and adequate voltage. Meet with customers to resolve issues regarding clearance, location, and condition of ED facilities and other related matters.
Assist in the restoration of service due to storm damage or equipment failure. Provide coverage for other technicians during their absence. Review all mapping updates resulting from work produced to assure accurate representation. Perform other related duties.

Job Summary
Responsible for translating the business requirements for Operational Solutions into the SAP system via the SAP Configuration IMG (SAP Implementation Guide).
