Overview
This is an entry level role focused on handling gas and electric customer transactions. Responsibilities
+ Respond to customer, electrician and contractor calls in accordance with established performance and quality metrics both verbal and written via multiple channels (phone, email, chat, etc.)
+ Initiate work requests for electrical work or non-electrical work that requires a service shutdown, provide updates to work requests and clear inspections from wire inspectors
+ Resolve problems by clarifying the customer complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting the best solution to the problem, expediting corrections, and follow-up to ensure customer questions are resolved
+ Proficient in all platforms designed to support customer account transactions and interactions
+ Perform and be proficient in back-office customer service work responsibilities
+ Respond to storm/emergency events - outages and service interruptions
+ Respond promptly and professionally to simple customer calls and inquiries (Example: Trouble calls, Pay Assist/Collection, Simple Connections Electric Service Request, Transfer Service).
+ Intake calls from electricians/contractors, create work requests for electrical work or for non-electric work that requires service shutdown
+ Clear inspections from Wire inspectors
+ Schedule meter installs, remove/install locks & seals
+ Perform general simple account maintenance and data entry
+ Complete necessary requirements related to start accounts and final accounts
+ Budget Billing, Autopay or other payment transactions and self-serve paperless opportunities
+ Triage and appropriately escalate customer issues for resolution

Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent is required

The ADMS system environment is a high-availability configuration with complex technology configurations of servers, networks, and security devices and is both a mission critical and highly regulated area of the business. + High school diploma/GED and 7 years' experience in gas field operations **OR** associate's degree and 5 years' experience in gas field operations **OR** bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience in gas field operations.
+ Familiarity with gas regulation & procedures such as Federal DOT 192 CFR, NGA Pipe Joining Manual
+ Excellent knowledge of gas-related equipment such as meters, headers, CGI, fittings, regulator stations, valves, McElroy fusion machine etc.
+ Working knowledge of computer systems, I-pad, word, excel etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in gas instructor position.
Experience in directly managing a field workforce (union).

+ **Core Responsibilities**
+ Creates, facilitates and delivers theoretical, practical, and technical training to Gas Operations employees through a variety of methods including (but not limited to) experiential, simulation, instructor-led and computer-based training, etc.
+ Conducts progression training, Operator Qualification (OQ) reviews, and coordinates with cross-functional teams and departments to prepare trainees for standard assessments (e.g., OQ exams) in a timely manner.
+ Supports the design and development of cohesive and innovative curriculum and training programs by preparing lesson plans, developing learning materials, demonstrating a strong commitment to company's safety policy and aligning courses to meet regulatory standards.
+ Creates a positive and constructive learning environment by managing time effectively and adjusting training delivery based on trainee needs.
+ Demonstrates trust and credibility by developing strong relationships and partnering with diverse stakeholders to identify and meet training needs.
+ Exhibits willingness to learn and teach new programs, skills, methods, procedures, equipment, etc.
+ Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support business needs and drives compliance with company-approved methods of utility installation and maintenance to field personnel.
+ Conducts knowledge checks and assesses trainee proficiencies in a fair and objective manner.
+ Maintains records and monitors course completions, attendance, assessments, and qualifications.
+ All other duties and projects as assigned.
