The purpose of this position is to manage the acquisition of a variety of corporate requirements, and issue contractual commitments. This position is authorized to make award decisions up to a designated amount on any individual procurement before requiring additional management review. Responsible for procuring materials and services at the best evaluated total cost of ownership, and assuring quality and schedule compliance in accordance with the end user's requirements. Responsibilities
The Category Manager position may be hired at the Associate, Intermediate, Senior or Lead level. The position responsibilities listed below reflect those of the Associate level. Additional/varying responsibilities maybe included for other levels of the Category Manager role.
Manage the procurement process from specification/definition of need through contract/purchase order issuance. Evaluate sources of supply and develop optimal pricing methodology and warranty protection. Utilize the most strategic sourcing method (alliance, auction, blanket, contract, master service agreement, purchase order) to acquire the necessary products and services at the maximum level of savings.
Identify new sources of supply, and potentially acceptable new products/technologies. Job Summary
Customer Service Consultants handle a variety of incoming customer phone calls, keeping in mind company policies and procedures while adhering to Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC) rules and regulations. Customer Service Consultants handle complex inquiries independently or with very little assistance. This role is the first point of contact for UGI customers and is best suited for those who are proactive and solution oriented. The successful candidate for this position works well independently and can adhere to a strict schedule. Customer Service Consultants will be trained to handle a variety of calls including gas emergencies and electric outages, new service applications, billing requests, and credit and collections inquiries. The ability to understand and communicate effectively orally and in writing in both English and Spanish is required for the effective performance of this position.
Candidates should feel comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. During the training period, the hours for this position will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Training is on-site and virtual, and employees must be able to report to the office as scheduled.
After the initial training period has been completed, candidates must have the flexibility to work various shifts (determined by the department's shift selection policy) as well as overtime on an as-needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Financial Reporting (70%): Lead the planning and execution of annual and interim financial statements preparation of UGI Corporation and its subsidiaries. Assure compliance with all reporting requirements under US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations. Direct the preparation of footnote disclosures and detail technical review of working papers for accuracy and completeness. Interface directly with key stakeholders (Investor Relations, Business Units, Tax, Legal, Treasury) in order to coordinate preparation and filing of SEC periodic reports and other non-SEC financial statements. Job Summary
An entry-level electrical substation maintenance position exists for an individual with qualifications, skills, knowledge and ability to perform work associated with the installation, maintenance, operation, inspection, testing and repair of electrical and mechanical substation equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Substation Inspections
Substation equipment testing (i.e., power transformers, instrument transformers, arresters, circuit breakers, batteries)
Substation equipment installations (i.e., circuit breakers, PT's, CT's transformers)
Control room wiring
Substation and office facilities maintenance
Switching
Perform miscellaneous cleanup chores other duties as requested
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Successfully complete a written and physical work sample with a passing score.
Ability to compute basic electrical quantities for simple electric circuits, interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, use basic hand and power tools, and properly utilize electrical test and measurement equipment for measuring voltage, current, resistance and power.
Must successfully complete forklift training to operate forklifts as required for warehouse fill-in.
Read, interpret, revise and work from blueprints or circuit diagrams and troubleshoot electrical & mechanical circuits and devices.
Have good communications skills and the ability to work cooperatively with supervision, co-workers, contractors and customers.
Must be safety-minded and possess the knowledge of applicable laws, codes and safety-related work practices common to electric utility work (i.e., OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269(a)2(iii), NESC). Must be able to learn and apply Company safety rules and procedures to the job function.
Possess good computer skills for timekeeping, on-line training, equipment recordkeeping and inspection reports.
Must be willing to work a reasonable amount of planned (scheduled) and emergency overtime, making available to supervision an acceptable means of off-hour contact by phone.
Must be knowledgeable of electrical maintenance, construction practices, standards, electrical theory and safety precautions used in working on high and low voltage electrical circuits.
Must successfully complete annual training on Annual Switching and Clearance and any other regulatory-bodied or Company-sponsored in-house or off-site work-related training.
Employee is expected to train-up employees in lower classifications upon advancement to a higher classification.
Ability to operate various types of industry-specific equipment such as, but not limited to, bucket trucks, material handlers, stake body trucks with lift gates and elevating platforms.
Must possess or obtain a Class B - Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within first 6-months of employment with no restrictions, and pass a DOT physical
As per the Local 262 - Electric Division Bargaining Unit Agreement, this is an “up or out” entry-level position. Per established progression requirements, the successful candidate will have two years to progress to the 2nd Class classification and then two years to attain the 1st Class classification. Each of the two-year intervals will consist of four six-month training intervals which the employee will be evaluated on.
