We are looking for interns who are passionate about renewable energy, including wind and solar, energy storage, green hydrogen, sustainability, carbon capture and other decarbonization technologies. Ideal candidates will be based in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Kentucky and would be interested in the potential of transitioning to full-time employment with PPL upon graduation. During the school year, students will work part time, but during the summer, the position will work on-site and may include travel to work on clean energy R&D projects at numerous locations across PPL Corporation including Allentown, Pennsylvania, Providence, Rhode Island, as well as Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky. While traveling, all expenses will be paid. We are looking for a Data Systems Engineering Intern. During this internship, you will partner with the Data Delivery and Analytics team. You will be involved in: * Partnering with cloud architects and business leaders to support strategic planning and financial forecasting related to SaaS usage. * Evaluate the current data ecosystem to assess gaps in data quality, controls, and risk exposure across end-to-end processes. * Define and implement scalable data quality rules, monitoring mechanisms, and risk mitigation controls. * Collaborate with engineering and business teams to integrate quality and risk frameworks into data pipelines, reporting, and governance practices. * Work closely with data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to document data lineage, establish standards, and develop a domain-oriented data architecture. * Develop models and dashboards that provide actionable insights to guide technology expansion, migration strategies, and evaluation of data product success.
