Job Description:
The order assembly picker/loader is responsible for picking orders, palletizing, loading and unloading products and/or cases, and working any station or line that is assigned. The order assembly picker/loader works anywhere in the Load-out/Cooler areas that may be assigned.
Responsible for pulling products for customer orders.
Duties may include any number of the following: Loading and unloading products in trailers. Distributing pallets of product from the palletizer to distribution trailers and staging areas. Stage materials for production.
Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment (when certified).
May use hand-held tracking devise.
Mark the paperwork properly when making adjustments for product shortages.
Keep accurate records on load sheets, inventory sheets, scrap sheets and computerized equipment.
Ensure proper code date rotation.
Report any mechanical problems such as bad wear strips, plugged or missing lube nozzles, spacer stop malfunctions, palletizer malfunctions or conveyor breakdowns.
Report any product/packaging issues.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all require PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
Trailer checks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
Minimum 2 years recent experience operating a forklift in a high efficiency environment.
Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test.
Must be able to sit and/or stand and drive for virtually the entire shift.
Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and manually stack and move cases up to 5-8 cases high.

Summary: The Packager performs all or any cheese packaging tasks required to package cheese per company specifications and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and follow through to assure daily packaging schedule is completed in a cost effective manner.
Using established packaging standards bag or box cheese and place in proper storage.

Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed standardizer to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues.
The standardizer will be responsible for performing all procedures, figuring, and testing required to standardize products. The standardizer will assist in making cultured products by operating HTST #2, filling out necessary paperwork, and completing PASS sheets as well as by operating the CIP system. The standardizer will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicate effectively with all departments, and meet daily deadlines. Other duties as assigned.
OUR MACHINE OPERATOR FOR THIS POSITION MAKE:
$30.27/hour starting
At 12 months $32.27
SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday, 12pm start time, 8 hour shifts
