With a clinical background as a social worker, Todd is driven to lead the organization to help better serve our patients and community. He has lead the development of numerous sites and programs to meet the needs of the community, as well as creating innovative partnership with other community providers. Todd is also the Executive Director of the statewide Psychiatric Assistance Line (PAL), offering consultation to primary care providers and has garnered national recognition.

Brent G. Nelson

Dr. Brent Nelson is a member of the leadership team as the Chief Medical Information Officer. His clinical focus is on treatment-resistant depression and mental health management in epilepsy and other complex neurological disorders. Dr. Nelson has conducted research focused on non-surgical brain stimulation in depression, brain injury, and schizophrenia. He is a consultant for the Center for Neurotherapeutics at PrairieCare which is focused on ground-breaking technologies used in the treatment of complex disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder. In his free time he enjoys software development, IoT maker projects, 3D design, and woodworking. He is also very active in advocacy and trying to improve access to novel therapies for those on public and low income medical plans.

Kyle Cedermark

Chief Psychotherapy Officer

Dr. Cedermark joined PrairieCare in 2015 and has provided evaluation, medical treatment and psychotherapy in inpatient, PHP, residential and clinic settings. He has provided clinical leadership to the Edina site since 2017. He is dual board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has a deep commitment to furthering the practice of psychodynamic psychotherapy, especially among psychiatrists. This interest has led him to provide ongoing education to medical students, residents and fellows through the University of Minnesota and other institutions. He is excited to expand the diverse array of therapies offered at PrairieCare while also aiding in the development of our individual and group therapists strengths and depth of skill and understanding.

Dr. Williams is a board certified Psychiatrist who joined PrairieCare in 2009. His interests in Pervasive Developmental Disorders and Mental Retardation stem from his work in behavioral analysis at a developmental center prior to entering medical school. Working at PrairieCare has allowed Dr. Williams to continue to work with patients with these conditions as well as provide him the opportunity to treat the full spectrum of mental health issues.
