Certified Electrician Reports to: Maintenance Manager Hours: M-F 8-5pm with occasional OT and Saturdays, Flexibility needed We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team! Electricians will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems of the manufacturing equipment, machinery, and plant infrastructure are functioning safely and efficiently. This role requires expertise in industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring for the corrugated paper manufacturing machinery, conveyors, and other industrial systems. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, both routine and complex, in the production lines and plant equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems and machinery are operating efficiently and to reduce downtime. Compliance: Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA), and perform work in a safe manner at all times. Equipment Calibration & Testing: Calibrate and test electrical systems, sensors, and instruments used in the corrugation and paper production processes. Repairs & Upgrades: Repair or replace faulty electrical components and suggest upgrades to improve system performance or energy efficiency. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in industrial equipment, control panels, motors, and other systems. Qualifications Required Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A strong academic record demonstrating aptitude for analytical problem-solving and systems thinking. Willingness to relocate to and work full-time in the Mason, Ohio office for the duration of the summer internship. Demonstrated desire to learn, high teachability, and a positive attitude. Preferred Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing or pre-press environment. Familiarity with data translation, API integration, or other methods of connecting disparate software systems. Experience with pre-press systems or manufacturing scheduling software is a plus. Internship Logistics & Next Steps Location: Work will be performed primarily in the Mason, Ohio office to maintain a regular cadence of face-to-face meetings.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the entire facility; all property and equipment. Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of production or processing machines and equipment with minimal downtime. Involves checking, setting up, and operating various types of production tools and equipment prior to approving for production use. Included maintaining the building and grounds. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Report to General Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known. Must fully understand and utilize I-Maintenance for managing the maintenance process and systems in the facility. Monitor warranties and service guarantees. Notify personnel of impending expiration dates. Conduct selective inventory monthly and verify with a computerized inventory of maintenance parts and supplies. Has full responsibility for preventative maintenance programs for all equipment in the plant and for all building and grounds maintenance. Take utility meter readings and record usage in computer. Locate O.E.M. manufacturers and after-market distributors in order to obtain competitive costs on parts or improved service. Order parts and supplies. Oversee bar code scanning of parts inventory. Establish high morale throughout your department by showing fairness, consistency, and an interest in employee problems. Maintain confidentiality. Initiate and/or maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and operate the maintenance department within its approved budget monthly and annually. Monitor water treatment of boiler in the corrugator area. Oversee and plan contract work and installations done by outside vendors when Superintendent is out of the plant. Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings with department personnel. Improve career skills by enrolling yourself in seminars, technical courses, and related college courses. Must be on call twenty-four hours a day and have capable and qualified backups in place for vacation and away time. Assist in the selection, evaluation, and installation of capital and expense projects. Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, including safety programs/policies and excellent housekeeping throughout the plant and in the maintenance shop. Additional duties may be assigned by management. Works directly with the Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises all employees assigned to the maintenance department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conflict resolution; team building; coaching and leading employees to improve; addressing complaints and resolving problems; documentation; and setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance. Work Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED. Computer/Data entry skills. Demonstrated personnel supervisory skills. Four years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant. Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following: College and/or related technical courses. Five years of experience in the corrugated box industry with heavy experience in electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. TECHNICAL SKILLS The individual must have a working knowledge of the following: Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation. This also supports the manager's role of teacher and trainer for his/her personnel. Cost issues in order to make daily decisions that will reduce overall costs and will help the manager find areas that require improvement. Quality standards.
