Pros of working at Precision Castparts

PCC have always compensated me fairly for the job that I’ve done, but we go through good and bad leaderships through the years and right now is very bad.

Cons of working at Precision Castparts

It use to be hire the right people and give them the tools needed and get out of their way. Now it’s being told by unqualified supervisors that knows nothing about manufacturing telling us what to do.

Precision Castparts benefits

Use to be employees stock purchase plan. Now what’s left of our QCB bonus pool is down to 0%~2% range. Too many non-value added positions that’s sucking our bonus pool up.

What do you like best about Precision Castparts's CEO and the leadership team?

The CEO made some challenging decisions in the past now he needs to do it again to do a hard reset to put us back on track.

How would you improve Precision Castparts's culture?

Simple mutual respect would do the trick again. Remind everyone we work for the same company and just have different input to produce the product

How did you prepare for the Precision Castparts interview?

Had to take a GABY test just to get a interview long long time ago

How does your compensation at Precision Castparts compare to the industry average?

My compensation is always fair it’s just sometimes the days which we have to cover. Seven days a week 24 hours a day on straight time and all this staggered shifts so we do have weekends off to spend with our families

What's the diversity at Precision Castparts like?

There’s some representation of some diverse groups, but actually promoting it is not always there.

What brings you the most joy at Precision Castparts?

With all the years spent here it’s the type of work I do and the very small group of coworkers that I’ve spent years working with. Supervisors come and go so quickly we don’t depend on them anymore.
