Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certification Technician role involves compiling, reviewing, and distributing final product certifications for Turbine and Energy products. This position requires proficiency in handling certifications, ADRs, cut verifications, and raw material certifications. The individual will also contribute to other responsibilities within the certification group.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Compile, review, and distribute final product certifications for Turbine and Energy products.
* Cover weekend certifications based on a rotating schedule, ensuring timely completion.
* Create ADRs (Alloy Data records) and ZCMSs (Material Ordering documents) within the Oracle system.
* Review, enter, and release Raw Material Certifications.
* Perform Cut Verifications to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Review Powder Conformance packages for compliance with standards and specifications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Proficient in MS office including outlook, excel, word
* Ability to multi-tack in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in Oracle or another ERP system is strongly preferred
* Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
* Knowledgeable on ISO 9000, AS9100, API certifications is a plus
EDUCATION:
* High school diploma at Min but would prefer some College
EXPERIENCE:
* 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred (This is flexible)
WORK CONDITIONS:
* Safety Gear: Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed boots.
* Movement: Regular movement throughout the manufacturing floor, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.

Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Auxiliary Crew role is essential in supporting the forging operation by executing a range of service tasks crucial to production. This position is responsible for verifying die assembly in presses, assisting press operators in setup and tear down of press dies, ensuring proper lubrication equipment operation, material centering on presses, and other pivotal duties to maintain operational efficiency.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Verify proper dies are assembled in the press by using set up sheet and verify that the serial numbers on the furnace load sheet correspond with the serial numbers on the check off sheet.
* Responsible for assisting the press operator on set up tear down of press dies; also checks that the throat opening, and guide tube are aligned. Report any die wear or abnormalities to operator or supervisor.
* Checks lube equipment prior to running job and lubes dies according to lube procedure on weight ticket/procedure sheet.
* Centers material on press.
* Blows scale off the blocking base and pot by using a blow pipe.
* Sets the laydown machine in proper position prior to running the first piece.
* Contacts heat treat personnel prior to running the first piece.
* After extrusion is laid down, reads extrusion length from proper scale on the conveyor and record length on the check off sheet.
* Performs stencil of hot material.
* Assists with general cleanup of shop area.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
* Proficiency in basic mechanical tasks and equipment operation.
* Attention to detail in verifying and documenting operational processes.
* Strong communication skills to report abnormalities and collaborate effectively.
* Capability to perform physical tasks involving standing, reaching, and lifting.
* Capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment while maintaining safety standards.

EDUCATION:

WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you will own delivering sustainable performance through an effective Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement goals. You will work cross- functionally to ensure quality in a Lean Manufacturing technical components' environment.
You will supervise a Customer Quality Manager, 3 Quality Technicians, a Quality Engineer, and a Documentation Control Specialist. You will plan and direct activities to develop, apply, sustain, and improve the QMS to ensure external and internal requirements are met.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide supervision, coaching, training, career progression opportunities, and mentoring for a Quality Team. Hire and supervise employees.
Oversee internal and external quality, customer complaints, and all customer communication related to quality issues.
Lead execution of corporate and specific site quality goals. Promote a proactive Built in Quality (BIQ) approach to quality and partners/collaborates with internal stakeholders to achieve site's performance goals. Manage activities related to the ISO Certification.
Lead and serve as the subject matter expert for advanced problem-solving methodologies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to modify and continuously improve processes to enhance quality, and stability of processes.
Develop and promote Built in Quality concepts into the quality system using methodologies such as Poke Yoke, Quality Gates, and Upstream Certification process.
Design and implement policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during production.
Ensure testing of processes and products are conducted per documented standards.
Develop training programs and materials and conduct training sessions on quality concepts.
Work closely with Team Leaders and production personnel on all shifts to provide guidance and instruction on proper inspection and reporting procedures.
Confer with customers on changes in quality standards and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders. Establish and use programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production and testing/measurement equipment.
Develop and devise standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of materials, in process and finished products. Develop process control methodologies to ensure quality requirements.
Audit and qualify suppliers to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with suppliers on problems or necessary corrective actions to be taken. Investigate deviations from standards and completes necessary analysis.
Coordinate government or customer visits for source inspection or quality system audits. Conduct visits to obtain required customer acceptance of products and maintain all associated records and documentation as needed.
Review materials, components or products returned under warranty claims. Analyze reason(s) for failure and advise customers of action to be taken.
Report and monitor Quality performance metrics. Conduct/coordinate analysis to determine failure root cause and ensure necessary actions are taken to improve quality performance metrics.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree required; preference for Engineering field, other degrees considered depending on work experience.
7+ years' work experience in an engineered product environment with specific experience in product and/or material quality and compliance.
Supervisory experience, to include mentoring, performance reviews, and hiring.
Lean Six Sigma manufacturing experience.
Project Management experience or training.
Experienced in quality audits and working collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure quality standards are set and achieved.
Excellent problem- solving skills and demonstrated success in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including ERP, MS Office, and data visualization.
Ability to travel (overnight 10-15%) to meet customers, internal partners, and/or attend conferences.

Position Overview:
The FP&A Intern will support the Division Finance team in delivering accurate financial insights, forecasts, and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis focusing on key metrics, variance review, capital process, and reporting within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

SUMMARY: Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and production equipment throughout the entire plant. Other duties may include working with suppliers, testing the controllers/components in various environments, ensuring that FMEAs [Failure Mode and Effects Analysis] are conducted and documented to meet stringent Caterpillar quality requirements.

Some examples of embedded software development applications include Datalink communications, inputs and outputs (sensors and actuators), speed calculation, injection/spark timing, memory management, CPU optimization, multi-core design and implementation, autonomy algorithms for perception, localization, planning, etc. In addition, some areas of work include developing scripts in Python/Visual Basic for automation.
+ **Software Validation/Verification for Electronic Systems:** Verify functionality of a feature or control system algorithm on a HIL [Hardware in the Loop] simulator bench or a SIL [Software in the Loop] system. Understand the requirements of the feature and/or the schematics of the controller/control system, verify functionality and debug/report anomalies to the development team, and help validate fixes.
