Job Description
Position Summary:
Selected candidates for a Level Three Maintenance Technician position are master mechanics who work without supervision to perform all NC machine related issues, including all levels of troubleshooting and repair, demonstrating the ability to read blue prints, interact with NC controls, assemble and disassemble NC machines, while serving as either a mechanical or technical SME.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Maintaining regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule.
* Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions.
* Maintain area cleanliness and organization to support 6S initiatives.
* Perform Lockout/Tagout(LOTO) and Confined Space maintenance tasks as necessary.
* Wear and maintain proper personal equipment (PPE), and follows all safety procedures.
* Safely operates facilities equipment such as power tools, hoists, cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
* Troubleshoot and repair motion controls (hydraulic, pneumatics, etc).
* Perform all preventive maintenance.
* Complete knowledge and maintenance of entire facilities systems including; powder coating system, In-line paint mixing system, vapor degreaser, solvent distiller system, HVAC systems, plating/anodize rectifier systems, processing tank electric heater and timer systems, shot peen machines, and NDT on-demand hot water system.
* Operation of production facilities equipment including: ovens, dryer and oven controls, immersion tanks and controls, air compressors, and paint booths and make-up air units.
* Orders and inventories materials, tools, accessories, and parts to support production facility departments, machinery, and equipment.
* Rack and special tooling fabrication.
* Performs Stick, MIG and TIG welding.
* Operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
* Performs equipment maintenance on such items as air compressors.
* Performs plumbing and maintenance to facilities water piping systems.
* Knowledge and performance of electrical work to facilities and machinery.
* Perform repairs and service maintenance of machinery and equipment.
* Studies production schedules and estimates repair and work completion to better schedule around production.
* Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
* Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
* Will at times require heavy lifting or use of mechanical hoist for the aid in lifting objects.
* Operators will be exposed to various cleaning and production chemicals/odors and occasional fumes, wet/humid conditions (indoors), outside weather conditions, and moderate noise level.
* Operators will frequently be exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, vibration, and is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.

Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
Performs distribution functions as needed.
Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels. Logs date and ID number of cartons of product to maintain a FIFO inventory and to identify any QC problems with raw materials.
Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.

Position Summary/Essential Functions:
With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring and final product detailing functions. Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
* Required to hand deburr.
* Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.
* Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
* Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
* Record test results on data forms.
* Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
* Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
* May be required to run automatic weld machine.
* Perform other related responsibilities.
Qualifications:
* HS diploma or equivalent.
* 1-3 years assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
* Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
* Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
