Job Description
Responsible for visual inspection of wax pattern and dressing of defects, and other various tasks related to pattern manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
* Visually inspects wax patterns to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Dress defects using hot torches and hot plates; trims flash; fixes air bubbles; label patterns; assembles parts; applies sealant; keeps work area clean.
* Accurately report daily production quantities
Physical and Mental Demands:
* Job is performed at a work bench where you have the option to sit or stand. Work requires attention to detail, steady hands, good visual acuity.
* Constant use of both upper extremities to inspect, dress, repair, label and seal wax patterns. Frequent use of hand tools; reach / handle activities at waist, knee, shoulder, overhead.
* Push/lift 10-35 lbs.

2nd shift NDT Technician- CMM
Title: NDT Technician (Visual Inspector)
Status: Hourly
Shift: 2nd, 2:30p-10:30p
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Area Manager, NDT
Location: Mentor, OH
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.
Personal Characteristics: Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/ quantity. Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record. Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. Have strong sense of urgency. Individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in visual or grain inspection in IGT or Aircraft Investment Castings. Must be able to read and interpret customer specifications, and computer literate.
Principal Area of Responsibility: The Visual Inspector must be able to interpret specifications issued by the Quality Control Department in fulfilling manufacturing's inspection operations.
Specific Duties:
* Perform visual inspection of all castings and determine the acceptability to specifications, re-routing unacceptable parts back to the appropriate finishing operation when needed or classifies and holds rejected parts for review.
* Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standard as established by Manufacturing.
* Record, on a daily basis, all work performed and the correct distribution of the work time by operational code and operating department.
* Keeps work area clean, following all safety rules.
* Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor.
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.

3rd shift NDT Tech - Stamper
Title: NDT Tech - Borescope Operator
Status: Hourly
Shift: 3rd, 10pm-6am
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Area Manager, NDT
Location: Mentor, OH
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.
Personal Characteristics: Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/ quantity. Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record. Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. Have strong sense of urgency. Individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred experience with Borescope devices and Excess Metal defect removal inside of cored metal castings.
Principal Area of Responsibility: The Borescope Inspector finisher must be able to perform operations and operate all equipment efficiently in the optical inspection and fine rework of metal castings, defined as turbine components or castings of comparable weight and size (from approximately 5 to 75 pounds). Ability to comprehend and adhere to established safety and quality procedures and protocols.
Specific Duties:
* Perform borescope inspection of the cores of all assigned products/castings.
* Ability to identify defects and perform delicate rework using fine tools.
* Execute and manage rework procedures on identified defects.
* Communicate and coordinate with quality department and leadership on identified issues/trends
* Perform visual inspection to ensure quality is delivered to our customers.
* Pass inspection/audits in accordance with customer specifications and company procedures.
* May perform other duties as specified by the supervisor.
* Records on a daily basis all work performed and correct distribution of work time identifying same by operational codes. Must follow the number routing card in sequence.
* Keeps the work area clean, orderly, and in safe condition, following all safety rules.
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
* Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
Physical and Mental Demands:
* Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed below.
* The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines.
* Must be able to pass tri-annual grain/laue exam and an annual eye examination.
* Flexibility to work other shifts or overlap shifts when necessary.
