Position Summary:
This entry level position with on the job training is responsible for the safe operation of burr grinders, hand tools, and other light bench equipment to clean and remove welds, nicks, and burrs from precision castparts.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Learn specified codes specific to our manufacturing process
* Selects and mounts proper tool in burr grinder; determines what to remove by belt cleanup
* Learns to use measuring equipment i.e. caliper, micrometer
* Accurately completes traveler (paperwork) as required, submits timely for review
* Carefully transports finished pieces to next operation area
* Understand and acts upon instructions provided on job assignments and equipment
* Follows established housekeeping and safety practices to maintain a quality work environment
* Performs related work requiring equal or lesser skill as directed
Experience & Education:
Requires the ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions normally acquired by completion of high school of GED. Training is on the job.
Required Skills
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, read, follows and interprets instructions on technique cards, code sheets as well as other verbal or written instructions.

Under general supervision, those who design, program, and build cavity dies and production tooling and fixtures in accordance with quality standards. Ensures that documentation, tooling and parts are correctly matched to paperwork.
To build tooling with the proper balance of time and cost to make a product that is as close to final dimensional need as possible with minimal rework.
Essential Job Functions:
* Demonstrate leadership ability and set good examples for the department. This will be judged on increase of productivity and decrease of scrap and rework, plus maintaining production schedule.
* Demonstrate cooperation when assistance is needed by the management and must possess the ability to train incoming personnel.
* Know, understand, and be able to instruct others in the Safety rules and policies of the plant.
* Demonstrate the ability to design, program, and build dies at all levels of complexity, for example, Wax dies, ceramic core dies, inspection fixtures, straightening fixtures, and all other types of permanent and temporary tooling.
* Demonstrate the ability to quote the design and manufacturing cost of new tools and reworks. Note: This will be verified thru comparisons with vendors.
* Demonstrate the ability to supervise and troubleshoot in house tooling projects. Clarify tooling instructions with design and engineering personnel.
* Maintains the requirements and skills of all previous levels for that department, including the Quality Systems, and make and maintain efficiency standards.
* Possess the ability to make cost analysis for decision making, and exercise good judgment in helping the company to become more profitable.
* Possess ability to basically run the department efficiently with a minimum of outside assistance.
* Maintain outside toolmaker sources, evaluate their work, and determine a system of cost analysis for approval of their charges.
* Explain and be able to compute the efficiency system established in the area/department.

Under general supervision, inspects the surface condition of castings using specialized equipment and a liquid Penetrant, using predetermined inspection methods approved by Quality Assurance, to ensure conformance to customer requirements in accordance with quality standards. Ensures that documentation, tooling, and parts are correctly matched to paperwork. Ensure castings are defect free; conform to production guidelines and customer requirements by performing penetrant inspection functions following established NDT inspection methods, conforming to specifications on technique cards.

* Demonstrate ability to log on main computer system, extract information, log time, enter inventory amount and forward to next operation.
* Possess the ability to handle tote boxes and castings weighing up to 35 pounds.

* You must pass a current visual acuity test (eye exam) and annually thereafter.

* Project Management: Participate in multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
* Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback and insights from the field, contributing to the continuous improvement of AC power products.
* Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for customers and internal stakeholders.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical inquiries.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in connector sales, preferably within datacenter environments.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in AC power equipment, including UPS systems, generators, and switchgear.
* Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, both domestically and internationally.
For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000- $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
