How you will help us grow:
Customer Needs Assessment:• Work closely with farmers and agronomists to understand their operations, goals, and challenges • Conduct farm assessments and use data-driven insights to recommend precision agriculture solutions tailored to each client's needs• Provide technical and agronomic advice to optimize input usage, such as fertilizers, pesticides, and water, based on collected data and precision farming techniques
Crop Analysis:• Provide recommendations to customers and help them make informed business decisions by utilizing our proprietary software offerings • Develop grower crop plans, rotations, and product positioning by unlocking the potential of every acre• Serve as a sub-acre practitioner working alongside growers to showcase the value of product positioning • Deliver all portfolio prescriptions with fundamental rationale • Collect, analyze, and interpret data for yearend reviews with customers
Sales & Market Share Growth:• Prospecting via existing relationships and cold calling alongside the Regional Sales Lead (where applicable) or individually to generate and uncover opportunities for customer acquisition • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building relationships with farmers, agribusinesses, and industry stakeholders• Achieve sales targets by offering solutions that meet the specific needs of clients, focusing on improving farm productivity and profitability
Team Leadership & Development:• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of agronomists and sales representatives, providing guidance on technical agronomy solutions and sales strategies• Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and develop professional growth plans for team members • Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement • Hire and maintain oversight in training summer interns •

Experience you bring:
• Four-year bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or related field with three (3) or more years of experience (preferred) OR associate's degree with five (5) or more years of related experience • Must be willing maintain or obtain a Certified Crop Advisor certification within one (1) year of employment • Demonstrates passion for exceeding customer needs and the ability to influence and close the sale • Knowledge of Precision Agriculture preferred • Comfortable challenging customers and playing the role of a change agent to efficiently improve customer operations • Strong listening skills to appreciate unique customer needs and align them into compelling value propositions • Must reside in the U.S., and live in the applicable regional territory

End-to-end CNC OD/ID grinding: programming, setup, and operation using G & M code with deep GD&T fluency.

Tolerance mastery: Maintain and verify 0.0001 in. tolerances with precision measurement-micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, templates, and fixtures.

Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Bring your expertise in cylindrical grinding to set up and run both CNC and manual ID/OD equipment, turning complex blueprints into precision parts that meet exacting specs.
A Day in the Shop
You begin by reviewing the job traveler and engineering drawings, confirming dimensions, tolerances, fixtures, feeds and speeds, and depth of cut. You validate the gauging approach, secure the workpiece using chucks, centers, tables, fixtures, and clamps, then dial in tooling and offsets. Throughout the run, you monitor the machine, check parts with fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers, and adjust as needed. Between jobs, you document results, coordinate with supervisors and leads to hit schedule targets, and keep your area clean and safe. When needed, you sharpen tools at the bench grinder and record production quantities, reporting and documenting any defects you identify.
Core Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and job orders for dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions; determine the sequence of operations.
Confirm gaging methods are sufficient to achieve quality requirements.
Complete documentation on job travelers, inspection tags, and layout sheets.
Set up and secure workpieces on tables, chucks, centers, or fixtures using clamps and wrenches.
Position tooling and parts; set feeds, speeds, and depth of cut per specification.
Observe machine operation and verify part conformance with fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
Use a bench grinder to sharpen tools as needed.
Collaborate with shop supervisors and leads to meet production schedules.
Inspect and measure parts to maintain accuracy and quality.
Accurately record production quantities.
Report defective parts and complete required documentation for nonconformances.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Required Training & Experience
High School diploma or 5 years grinding experience.
Familiarity with machine maintenance and proven knowledge in commands to retrieve preprogrammed instructions.
Practical experience reading and comprehending blueprints and work instructions and following established safety procedures.
