Gave me a wonderful living from 1977 to 1998. Hard and dirty work but that's why its called WORK.
Back then the swing shifts were very difficult to get used to. Also, it was 30 miles from home and we did 12 hour shifts.
Thanks to our Union I made more per hour than I ever had before.... about $18.00.
For the most part the team leaders and supervisors were all willing to at least listen to complaints and suggestions from the workers.
Fair.

That I was truly listened to and given the ability to implement my own ideas to work more productively.
Constant changing atmosphere. Every day, every shift generally a new challenge.
Have been employed in the Portage Facility for 3 years. It's just normal to the Buiness so there aren't any really. Proud to be an employee there.
