Job Description AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at our Canton East facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager you will perform maintenance services in the areas of PM's, basic plumbing & electricity, welding, and machine servicing. Duties and Responsibilities Repairs, replaces, and reassembles defective equipment parts using hand and power tools. Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings. Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems and determines how to correct them. Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Maintain a clean and organized shop area. Qualifications 6 months to 1-year related experience required. Knowledge of hot dip galvanizing, steel fabrication or other custom metal coating operations is a plus. Welding/Fabrication experience preferred. Experience with electrical systems, cranes, hoists, and forklifts preferred. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Willingness to learn new skills is a must! Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent is required. Duties & Responsibilities * Market Intelligence & Customer Insights * Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and dynamics, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities aligned to Mactac's goals and objectives. * Lead cross-functional ideation and feasibility assessments for growth opportunities; develop business cases, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies that are customer-centric and commercially viable. * Serve as the voice of the customer and represent the product line in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. * Product Strategy & Commercialization * Collaborate with R&D and Innovation to define product requirements, value propositions, launch strategies, and repositioning efforts. * Drive alignment between product messaging, pricing strategy, and differentiation to ensure our offerings deliver clear, compelling value to target customers and end users plus support prioritized growth initiatives and their associated growth measures. * Portfolio Management * Manage the lifecycle of existing products, including enhancements, rationalization, and end-of-life planning. * Monitor product performance and profitability, making data-driven decisions to optimize the portfolio. * Pricing Strategy & Execution * Develop and maintain pricing models and frameworks across product lines and customer segments. * Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions. * Recommend pricing adjustments based on cost changes, margin targets, strategic priorities, market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior. * Strategic Planning & Forecasting * Contribute to annual planning, revenue forecasting, and strategic roadmap development. * Track KPIs and provide regular updates and insights to leadership on product performance, risks and opportunities, market dynamics to support recommendations and actions.
