It was really good experience, I learned a lot about the mental health field and recovery. It has a lot of promise.
The company itself is a mess, the HR department doesn't do its job and the pay is pretty awful even for the field which leads to a massive turnover. I'm surprised the facility hasn't been shut down.
If you're working full time the PTO accrual is decent, at least in my experience.
I didn't. The leadership at my location at least was horrid. They were bad at their jobs and faced no repercussions for abuses of power.
HR department needs to do its job way better, management needs to humble themselves.
I prepared for an interview by thinking about my experiences with mental health and leaning into that. I worked in an entry-level position so lived experiences make a big difference.
