Evaluates patient responses to therapy / interventions. Ensures revision of the inter-professional plan of care as necessary to achieve quality outcomes. Identifies need for new/revised clinical protocols. Collaborates with physicians and others within the practice to develop protocols and provides training as appropriate. Manages and provides comprehensive advanced nursing care including physical examination, comprehensive history, screening for physical and/or psychological conditions, emergent interventions, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, ordering treatments and DME, preventative health maintenance activities, care management, referrals, discharge planning, counseling and patient education. Establishes a treatment plan based on clinical findings and. Determines when further evaluation by collaborating physician, specialist or emergency care is warranted. Collaborates with patients, families, primary care physicians and other team members to provide assessment and care planning. Assesses, plans, and provides intensive and continuous care management across client settings. Manages and provides clinical services in compliance with standards of Patient-Centered Medical Home standards, meaningful use of medical record data, HEDIS and QARR quality of care measurements. Summary: The Lead Radiation Therapist is the supervisor over the Radiation Therapy team at Riverside Methodist Hospital Radiation Oncology. They are responsible for maintaining adequate staff levels and making sure all the LINAC machines are well staffed. They maintain and prepare the daily schedule and the call schedule for our team. They partner with the providers and the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our patients and are the connecting link between the Radiation Therapy team and the department manager. They are responsible for addressing the immediate concerns of the radiation therapy team and escalating them when appropriate. They maintain a high quality of care by reviewing charts and making sure all the required parameters and hard stops are in place. They participate in the Quality Review Meetings and address any quality concerns with the Radiation Therapy team. They are also involved in system meetings aimed to improve the quality of care at a system level. When not working on administrative duties, the Lead Radiation Therapist will also be involved in treatments at the LINAC or coordinate the patient appointments at the SIM CT, depending on their rotation assignment. Responsibilities And Duties: 10% With regards to the radiation therapist activities, the Lead Therapist oversees and verifies the accuracy and completeness of patient charts and department QA records, such as morning linac QA, routine imaging, and treatment documentation. 5% Assures appropriate supply inventories are maintained for the treatment areas. 5% Oversees the radiation therapist time off requests, treatment rotations, and on-call schedule ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained. 10% Assists the department manager with operational needs. 10% Evaluates the radiation therapists with regards to their technical competencies and ensures that their annual licenses and OhioHealth competencies are completed timely. 5% Provides input to manager for yearly staff evaluations for each radiation therapist. 5% Obtains budget needs for the therapy department and assists Manager with budget preparation. 50% Performs the duties of a Radiation Therapist Reg in conjunction to performing the administrative role of the Lead Therapist. Sign-On Bonus [taxed] Available Bonus Paid in Full with First Paycheck $10,000 Dependent (LPC, LSW, MFT) $15,000 Independent (LPCC, LISW, IMFT) Part-Time: 24 Hours Per Week 1st Shift: 9am - 5:30pm Alternating Mon-Tues-Wed and Sun-Mon-Tues Summary: The Mental Health Therapist I apply graduate-level counseling skills/social work under the direct supervision of an independently licensed staff member as stipulated by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. The duties performed include the psychosocial assessment of individuals, adolescents, families, and groups and the provision of graduate-level clinical social work/counseling interventions as appropriate to client needs in the context of the department. This position will complete the 3,000 hours of supervised clinical work required by the state licensure board to obtain the clinical endorsement required to practice independently. Responsibilities: Conducts initial comprehensive patient and family psychosocial assessment, and triages care accordingly. Communicates with staff regarding assessment, treatment/interventions and interdisciplinary care plan through documentation and meetings such as patient rounds. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide competent care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age. Provides case management for assigned patients that involves consultation and collaboration with hospital and community professionals and programs in order to provide the most appropriate and comprehensive care. Consistent use of evidence-based trauma and risk assessment tools and application of crisis intervention skills when indicated, and determine formally the need for a referral to the Emergency Department or more suitable community agency. Ethical and timely completion of documentation as expected in the context of the department. Other duties as required. Outpatient Add On: Complete Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions in addition to other clinical evidence-based treatment modalities to assist patient and families in the completion of their individualized service plans. PHP/IOP Add On: Use of CBT and DBT (Dialectical Based Therapy) intervention through individual, group, and family therapy, to support client in achieving therapeutic goals. PIRC Add On: Works in a fast-paced environment conducting risk assessments and using crisis intervention skills as needed. Triage and assess intake calls received from families and community referral sources. Conducts preliminary diagnostic assessment over telephone to assess the need for services for children and adolescents seeking psychiatric and psychological services. Conducts comprehensive risk assessment either face to face in the ED or through telehealth to maximize continuity of care with the family. Engages in consultation and collaboration with hospital and community professionals and programs in order to develop and communicate a crisis treatment plan for patients and families and provides recommendations for follow-up. Substance Use Add On: Use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy intervention as well as other evidence-based practices, such as Motivational Interviewing. Involve family in therapy sessions and provide behavior modification techniques as clinically indicated. Other information: Technical Expertise 1. Experience working with electronic medical record software, such as EPIC, is preferred. 2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. 3. Experience providing clinical services through telehealth is preferred. Education and Experience 1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental/Behavioral Health Counseling is required. 2. Certification: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) required. 3.
