ABOUT THE ROLE
Premier Auto Credit is seeking a senior finance leader who can help run the company based on numbers, historical performance, and credit analytics. This role is responsible for pricing, portfolio performance, financial strategy, and identifying operational and credit issues that impact profitability.
This is not a traditional CFO role focused only on accounting or fundraising. This role is hands-on and analytical. You will work directly with the CEO to diagnose problems, explain why they are happening, and implement data-driven solutions to improve margins and reduce losses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own loan pricing strategy, including APR bands, dealer discounts, advances, and risk tiers
• Analyze portfolio performance using static pools, vintages, and loss curves
• Monitor delinquency, roll rates, charge-offs, recoveries, and lifetime value
• Identify margin leakage, underwriting drift, and operational breakdowns
• Build and maintain financial and credit performance models
• Forecast profitability based on historical portfolio behavior
• Provide clear, data-backed recommendations to leadership
• Oversee accounting and ensure GAAP compliance
• Manage warehouse lines, borrowing base, and lender reporting
• Improve financial reporting, dashboards, and decision tools
• Work closely with underwriting, funding, and servicing teams
QUALIFICATIONS
• 7-12+ years of senior finance or credit leadership experience
• Auto finance, subprime lending, or consumer lending experience strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of loan pricing and credit economics
• Proven experience with portfolio analytics and loss forecasting
• Advanced Excel skills required (this will be tested)
• SQL or analytics tools a plus
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work on-site and closely with the leadership team

A Plus Tree is hiring Grounds Persons to be part of our Tree workers' crews in Hayward, CA. You will work with the Grounds Crew in the safe operations of general tree care. A Plus Tree specializes in the planting, removal, pruning (trimming), and health of trees in urban areas. Responsibilities:
Carries out all maintenance duties allocated by the Foreman.
Watches for pedestrians.
Sets up cones for traffic safety and drop zones for climber/bucket operators.
Spots drivers as they back up vehicles and equipment.
Poles, prunes, rigs down material for climbers, and keep rig and climb lines clear of brush.
Loads and chain down equipment on trailers.
Chips material, rakes, and blows leaves.
Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
Assisting with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposal.
Learning techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members.
Fueling and warming up saws and equipment.
Ensures all work sites are kept clean and free of hazards.
Inspects equipment and tools and performs repairs and maintenance when required.
Uses the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
Reports any issues or safety hazards to the Foreman or other relevant parties.
Participates in JSA safety meetings.
Adheres to company and environmental regulations.
Follows safety guidelines. Safety is our #1 DONE.

Qualifications:

No experience is required, but previous experience as a tree grounds worker is a plus

Job Summary:
The Loss Prevention Specialist will be responsible for the repayment program component in the Loss Mitigation Department and will ensure that the necessary steps are being followed to properly offer the most suitable repayment program. You will consider varying levels of willingness and ability to pay and oversee the stage of delinquency of the account.
The Loss Prevention Specialist will also be responsible for securing any potential losses associated with impounds, repossessions, seizures, tows, or abandoned vehicles.
This position will be responsible for handling all vehicles from notice of impound/repossession until the collateral is secured or abandoned.
This role requires sound judgment. Knowledge of all areas in Collections & Loss Mitigation is expected.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Proficient in the ability to analyze individual consumer situation, present alternative solutions including repayment plans, modifications, assist in identifying, negotiating, and pursuing the appropriate repayment program option.
Receive and review repossession updates, condition reports, and oversee transportation logistics of repossessed inventory.
Use industry valuation publications to determine the value of collateral.
Partner with consumers to mitigate losses.
Refer accounts to management as needed for loss mitigation options.
Coordinates pickup of vehicles between law enforcement and repossession agencies.
Notifies repossession agencies of impounds, seizures and abandoned vehicles.
Negotiates storage fees with impound lots, works to ensure vehicles are not auctioned, crushed, sold, or kept in police custody.
Prepares hold harmless documents, notarizes paperwork, overnights documents to agencies and impound yards.
Properly and accurately documents all account activities.
Updates repossession notifications after successfully securing the collateral.
Works closely with the Asset Remarketing team to ensure the collateral is transported to the assigned auction locations.
Provides all necessary paperwork to agencies and auctions.
Performs other related duties as required.
Compliance Requirements
Ensures compliance with Premier Auto Credit's policies & procedures, state and federal laws, regulations, and standards.
Ability to articulate and adhere to all company policies, laws, regulations, as applicable to specific job duties. Including but not limited to completing compliance training and adhering to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious consumer and/or account activity.
