We are now seeking a Card Operations Specialist to work at our Corporate Office located in South San Jose. This position will be accountable for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the credit union's card program including managing the card systems, the rewards program and its integration with core systems.
Essential duties include:
Manage all aspects of the in-house card program and rewards program, including reward recommendations, compliance oversight and working with marketing on program collateral and promotion materials.
Perform scheduled third party system upgrades. Performs routine system monitoring to ensure service standards are maintained. Adhere to IT policy standards for use, operations and data for all credit card systems and third party interfaces with the core operating system. Maintain system upgrade records for audit and compliance reviews.
Assist the company and staff personnel with card programs and systems. Responds to staff personnel request for technical assistance by phone, email and in person resulting in quality service for the member. Day to day card servicing fulfillment including and not limited to special handling order requests, card care center orders, custom image orders, UChoose point redemption posting, digital wallet provisioning.
Modify software as needed and works with tech support vendors and IT staff on software installations. Diagnose hardware, software, and operator problems, takes remedial actions and recommends changes for all card interface systems. Develop, recommend, and implement new card and reward features, enhancements and updates for member service delivery channels: website, home banking, mobile, and card systems including future enhancements to member facing system.
Prepare reports for upper management on program profitability, rewards program usage and member engagement.
Work with Training team to train staff accordingly on the card programs and rewards program. Work with other departments to make sure procedures and documentation are accurate.
Education and Preferred Qualifications:
Three to Five years of related experience
Two-year college degree or completion of specialized program
Working knowledge of card products, credit union operations and best practices
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail; maintains rigorous quality control standards

The base pay for this position is generally between $166,425 and $221,900. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
