Website: *************** Summary As a Warehouse & Driver Associate you will be responsible for driving and transporting materials in a raw or packaged form, to and from specified destinations such as plants, construction sites, offices, or within industrial yards by performing the following duties. You will also assist the warehouse in receiving, stocking, filling orders, and general maintenance and cleaning in warehouse. Responsibilities On a daily basis, coordinating with the Delivery Coordinator the deliveries of product or material to proper destination by identifying destination, selecting route, driving the vehicle. Properly loads product and material on company delivery trucks to prevent damage during shipment, double checking against shipping papers along with another warehouse employee for accuracy. Delivers and unloads product on customer's premises, collects payment if COD, and obtains signature for receipt of goods delivered. On a daily basis inspect the condition of the delivery truck, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Complete Vehicle Maintenance Request form and turn into Delivery Coordinator as required. Keep an updated truck driver log, all necessary paperwork, physicals when requested and any other legal requirements to drive. Maintain safe driving practices at all times, noting road conditions and product load, complying with company policies and procedures and highway rules and regulations. Receives product by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, unpacking containers. Conveys product from receiving to designated rack, shelves, or storage bin according to predetermined sequence. Assembles customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveys orders to shipping department. Opens crates, pallets, and other containers upon receiving for inspection of goods received, noting any discrepancies or damaged product to Warehouse Supervisor. Help with the general upkeep of the warehouse area such as sweeping of floors, breaking down pallets, organizing of inventory shelves, etc. Maintain safety of building, work area, and other employees by performing all duties within safety established guidelines. Make sure that the walkways and loading docks are clear of ice and snow, by shoveling, applying salt, or sand, for safety of customers, employees, and company assets. Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor. Inform customer of product available for their application via phone call or face-to-face. Shift Time: 5:00PM - 2:00AM, Monday to Friday In This Role Operate a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling Use RF scanners to pick, verify, and place inventory for order fulfillment and storage Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and promptly report any malfunctions or safety concerns Identify and manage inventory across documentation, including orders, labels, manifests, and bills of lading Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and stay informed on process updates Monitor and address inventory quality issues through routine checks Meet productivity targets while efficiently managing resources Report inventory discrepancies using the ICAR process and ensure proper documentation Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team Be open and honest Reach for excellence Act with responsibility Value the whole person Enjoy the journey The Ideal Person 2+ years of experience operating an order picker forklift required High school diploma or GED required Basic computer skills, including familiarity with WMS and Microsoft Excel Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance Required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours Willing and able to work overtime as needed About Four Hands Headquartered in Austin, Texas, since 1996, Four Hands crafts furniture, art and décor - pieces that are all about creating space.     We are hiring for a 1st Shift Lift Truck Operator (6AM-3:30PM) to provide quality material handling to support operations and achieve growth. This position will be reporting to the Facility Manager and will occasionally require weekends, holidays, and overtime. Starting pay is $23.00/hr DUTIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES: Operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars Perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records Serve our customers through providing accurate correspondence on inbound and outbound orders QUALIFICATIONS: Experience operating lift truck to load/unload lumber and steel products. Experience loading and unloading trucks and railcars using lift truck equipment Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed Demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled Positive, clear, and professional communication skills Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience. Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse environment Lumber and Steel experience is preferred. Experience in transloading fly ash from rail car to truck. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work outside the entire shift. Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 pounds Must be willing and able to slide, push, or pull cases up to 60 pounds Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.
